888-558-0839 called Dec 30, 2014 at 9:35 am.  Caller ID = TOLL FREE CALLER (usually SPAM)
They left message, but not identifying who they are, but said to call back and talk to "one of their professional agents".  So it sounds like insurance.

"888 558-0839 calls everyday....and today between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. called twice 5 minutes apart. Left message on answering machine....claim to be selling secondary insurance....and he is so pushy I had to turn off my answering machine."

Robo call re: COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)....

I've received numerous calls from this number; the caller has left partial recordings -- something to do with a COPD study (nobody in this household has COPD).  Here's a transcription of the latest recording, today (01/02/2015):   "...in your area for COPD, that if you qualify you may receive compensation up to $1500, no cost study medication for COPD, as well as treatment by a physician during the duration of the study.   If you are interested in learning more about this confidential opportunity, please press 1 to speak to one of our professional agents now.  You may also call us any time at 1-888-558-0839.  That's 1-888-558-0839.  To opt out of this opportunity, please press 9."

Recording for a COPD study

They have called repeatedly leaving message about COPD study. I called them back and tod them to remove my number. Not interested.

I'm on the do not call list but I get calls from these people daily.

Our system is set up to require callers not in our contact file to press a number to complete the call. Since the phone never rang, the caller did not press the required number. We subsequently added the number to a block list that returns a "no such number" tone and message.

From the glassdoor dot com web site's posts about the company, it's a call center operation that doesn't sound like a great place to work.
