I received call, left message on voicemail- fraud, bad check etc. I would remember if I wrote a check for $1000. Threatening warrant, etc. Some years back, I believed them and was out $4000. I was a new widow, four daughters still at home and these people know how to threaten. Then, I called the local DA and our state AG. That is when it stopped. They call, leave no company name etc. Do not answer, do not call back, etc.

These people call from a private number claiming to be an Investigator Briggs claiming that we need to be in court today. When law enforcement is called no such person exist. They give rhe above number in an effort to " help" you.
They buy old bad debt that cannot otherwise be collected on and try to harrass and scare people into paying them. It is not legitimate in any way
I have had my attorney involved. Do not send them your money nor give them your information.
