I got this as a text today and it said:
AT&T Free Msg: Payment (by bill credit or check) available under a settlement.  File your simple claim to receive a payment.  For more information, go to ATTVianuClassActionSettlement.com or (888) 564-8288.  Apparently there was a CA class action suit with a settlement for $15-$29 for each person, but I'm not going to access it as there's also a scam linked to this number online.

Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number and a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.

In other words, you are stating with 100% certainty that this call is 100% legitimate and that there is no possible way in the entire Universe that this number could be spoofed by scammers?  Please leave your name and address so that anyone that falls for your lie could start a Class Action Suit against you.  Should be no problem if you are 100% certain about what you posted and of course no one will have grounds to sue you now will they?
