Just another scammer trying to sell me an extended warranty on a vehicle that I haven't had in more than 5 yrs.  I get so tired of these.  Call showed up with Caller ID as being Unknown.  So this time I decided to have a little bit of fun with him.

He asked about the mileage.  I told him about 65K.  He asked if the vehicle was running good.  I told him that it is running absolutely wonderful.  He then went into his spill about how I was qualified for a warranty and how much it would cost.  And that it wouldn't cover tires and brakes, I told him that was fine I just had that work done on the vehicle less than 2 months ago.  He asked how I would like to pay for it.  Pay all $3495 at once or $495 today and then pay it out.  I asked for his phone number which he gave me.  I then asked if he routinely violated the Federal law.  He said no,, was puzzled and asked why.  I told him that my number is listed on the Federal Do Not Call list and I hadn't done business with him, and for him to call me is a violation of the Federal Law.  He asked me how he was suppose to know that?  I told him that he and his company is responsible to subscribe to that list and asked him how he knew what vehicle I had.  I also told him that I had only owned that vehicle for 3 months till being involved in a wreck and it was totaled.

At that point he got pissed off and yelled at me "Thank you for wasting my time."  I just simply told him that he was more than welcome.  And if he wanted I would be more than happy to waste more of it in Federal Court.  He hung up on me at that point.
