I also had a voice mail from this number stating they have allegations against me and failure to contact will result in missed court appearance.... but they don't say my name.... who are they looking for!

I called the number back said her name is ofelia but says she doesn't make any calls. Funny sounds like the person who leaves the messages saying allegations against a name and ssn but doesn't give a name or ssn.

I’ve had this number call 4 times now saying i have allegations against my name, Ssn, and if I don’t call back I’m refusing my rights to dispute it. They don’t say your name, or any information. Same number but different people leaving the voicemails. I’ve not done anything to cause myself to be in trouble. Scam call.

Same as the above. Multiple calls from the 888 570 2180 saying there are allegations blah blah. These are all scam robo calls. I never answer any call if the caller ID does not show who it is. If it's important they will leave a message.

Its a collection agency, I refused to pay them cause I don't have the money to pay my past bill  and they keep calling me.

.... and this reaction surprises you somehow? Cries of poverty are not a valid defense and they won't protect your rights. Everyone else in this thread found a rather good reason not to pay, mainly hearing threats which are both empty and illegal. Maybe you want to edit your story, and don't keep us in suspenseful waiting for a business name.

This lady has called me numerous times telling me they are from Allen Associates who have my name, ss number and date of birth faxed to them and want to discuss them. I have an allegation against me. If i don't respond in 24 hours, i waive my rights.  This is everytime she calls me.

I would suggest that you read the previous posts and learn how not to be a victim of this crime.

They called today they first asked me who u was and to give them my birthday or last 4 of social. They’re claiming I have an interest balance left by another collection agency. I checked my credit report and this account had been paid and it’s closed. She said if I want to pay I can only do it through debit card.

As above, a call about my social security. I don't think they mentioned anything about court dates, just something vague about further action. Female voice.

Called today. Was not home but ex-daughter in law said they had my name, ss num. & wanted me to call back. Sounds like every robo call I get 3-4 times a day. Govt says you cannot sue anyone because they don't know where they are calling from. Lots of luck

Well that would be for you to find out.  It is your lawsuit after all, or were you expecting the Government to sue them for you and then hand you the money?

This phone number is a scam... Talking about some important paperwork to be signed for . First of all not telling you what it is but asking about did you have credit issues in the past. Then when asked where this company was located . Respose the west coast. Then asked what are you calling about . But very vag. These are scammers trying to get personal info. If you are that good then why are you asking if someone would be around to sign for paperwork. First of all they dont ask you to be around. If you are being sued they just serve it. No calls !

This number is a scam.... David will call you and ask you to get a message to whoever ! Saying there is important paperwork to be signed for! Dont think so !

This number keep calling but ever time I started asking??? They hang up on me

I don't expect the govt. to do anything but figure out a way to stop the calls. They say the numbers are routed all over the world so good luck in finding them to sue.
