Social Security scam.  Received a text from (480) 405-0561 stating changes that could make me lose my SSDI referring to a site or this contact phone number for more information, all this site & phone number does is allows them to hit you with identity theft & everything that comes afterwards (and these guys are targeting people who are disabled, shows you just what kind of scum they are).  A search online for this number showed comments on other sites stating the same scam calling or texting them also.

If you are on SSDI and can return to work, your benefits could be at risk. Call 888-570-5970 to learn about avoiding termination.

I have the number blocked, but they still left a voicemail. Says they can set you up so you can earn as much as you want and defer your SSDI benefits until you need them. Right. And I have some beachfront property in Nebraska to sell you. Idiots.

They are called Allsup Employment Services. After doing a little bit of research it seems they are contracted with social security and they set you up on the ticket to work program. You can collect benefits while working and then after your stable social security either reduces or cuts off your benefits. The message they leave makes it seem like you can work & keep your benefits which according to the SSA website isn't always the case.
The following is from SSA.gov in the ticket to work section, ilunder how it works. "Taking the agreed-upon steps toward employment within Social Security's timeframes is called making "timely progress" towards: Receiving the education and training you need to succeed at work and your long-term career, Becoming and staying employed, Reducing your dependence on SSDI or SSI payments, Earning your way off cash benefits, if possible."

I researched as well. Saw NOTHING  about them being "contracted" by the Social Security Administration.

Don't talk any about your Social Security to anyone who calls out of the blue, period.

Just received a phone call from this number, didn't answer but they did leave a voicemail. It is Allsup regarding the ticket to work program for SSDI. I have received other calls from Allsup regarding this in the past. Allsup was the company my employer has me use to appeal my ssdi case which was won. Don't think this is a scam call like mentioned because I did work with Allsup and have received calls from them before and I just told them that my health has bit improved and I wasn't interested. They said they would call again to see of it changed.
