Wanted to speak to someone who could make financial decisions about a business.  Don't even own a business.

Always seem to get a call from this number at 5:30 each night - they never leave a VM.

Just got a call from this number - it's 11:00am - I did not have my recorder on so they could not leave a message.  I have finally gotten to the point that I turn my recorder off - in hopes that all of these crazy calls will stop.
I will have calls for a week and then they stop and then they start back up - it gets to be old.  Esp. when they call at night time.  Does not show a name of the company so I do not bother to answer the call.
I figure if you can't say who you are then I don't need to be talking to you.

Does a business also get to be on a do not call list?  I understand they do.

Just got another call from this number - would love to know who it is.
It's now 4:35  - so that makes two calls today.  I'm going to start keeping up with this.  And when I find out who it is - I'm going to see how far I can go with getting this stopped.

Just got a call from this phone number for the first time.  Apparently, it is an offer for a Discover Business Credit Card.  The operator described the benefits (which seem too good to be true, like 2% cash back on every purchase, and no SSN needed.) She asked for some personal questions but stated that disclosing social security number was OPTIONAL.  I told her I was not interested, then instead of saying thank you for your time, she proceeded on to try to persuade me.  I thought it was very fishy, but ohh well, it's up to you to decide.  At least I know who it was.

We receive several calls back to back within five minutes each day from these numbers: 888-466-1258, 777-777-7777, and 888-514-5141.  We would like to put a stop with these telemarketers from bugging us.  The first two never leaves a message on our answering message, and if you answer the phone they don't reply.  The last one, we even went as far as calling the number back to have them stop and we get a message that the number is not in service.  How can this be if they harass us, that we can't call them.

Calls and when I answer they sit there and don't respond.  then a few seconds they decide to hand up.  So I decided to search the number and found this... So then I called them back and when they answered I didn't say a thing.  A few seconds later after I made them wait I said...See how it feels!

Called and waited a few seconds for them to respond. Asked for me and I didn't respond right away (was going to wait a few seconds as they had)  then they quickly hung up.

they call constantly. they have called two or three times a day for  a couple of months.

Got a call today too.  They just hung up.

Fortunately, my company, Halloo Communications, can do call screening so that we can avoid these calls.

They call me 4 times a day.  That is a little insane.  They also call me on weekends and evenings.  Discover sucks.

BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!! A woman was trying to send my business a "Discover" card.  She asked for a LOT of personal info that they should already have for a "pre-approved" card.  She actually expected to get my SSN (either the whole thing or just last four numbers) and mother's maiden name- [***]!  She kept asking for personal & business information, and refused to just send an application by mail like any other legit company would do. I called the number and the same girl answered, which seemed weird because to me it meant that they don't have a big call center.  The next day I think she called again but hung up when she recognized my voice.  The day after a different girl called. I smell a scam...

Suspicious operation calls every day, multiple times, and never leaves a message. Usually calls are not during regular business hours. If you try to call them back and request removal from their system they will claim that there is no record of your name or number. Then they will call you again. SOBs !!!

These guys call my business phone at least once or twice a day. They always hang up if they get my machine. They have usually hung up before I have a chance to answer and say hello.
I called them back and spent 15 minutes trying to get the person to find my phone number on their list so that she could put it on their "do not call list". When she finally found it in their records, she told me that it would take up to 30 days to effectively put the number on their "do not call list". At that point I asked what they were calling about in the first place. She explained that it was a solicitation for Discover Business Card. I told her that I was not interested in a Discover business card, and started to ask if they would stop calling now, but I was disconnected before the words were out of my mouth.

They've called me three times since my last post here.
I've resorted to a new tactic. They're still calling, but maybe they'll stop soon.
Here's what I do: After I tell them I'm not interested in the card, they continue to badger me, as if I've said nothing. Then I ask if they use caller ID there. They say no. Then I tell them that when their phones are ringing every other minute for the next half hour and the caller hangs up when they answer, that will be me calling.
Try it- it's fun! It may be a pain for them with just me calling, but imagine if just a small percentage of the other people they're pissing off did it- might change their tune. Remember, it's a toll-free call: 888-577-4676
