person called and said they were calling from discover and wanted to send me a business card, and asked for additional information.  I refused to give the information and she gave me this number to call back if I changed my mind 1-888-577-6804.  The number she called me from was 1-888-577-5968

Discover Business Card.  1-888-577-6804 was given as a call back number.  I don't know which number they called from (we don't have caller ID).  They've been calling about once a week.  I keep telling them the person they want to speak to is ALWAYS at our customer's location.  I guess they don't believe me because they keep calling.  I finally asked to be put on their do-not-call list.  The caller then read a script along the lines that my request can take 30 days to process, yadda yadda.  To be honest, I think Discover will honor this request within 30 days - if not sooner.  I'll report back if they don't.  ;)

my mother got a phone call from "discover" ??? ( she loves her Discover account so although she's usually savvy about giving out info she gave out her mothers maiden name and the last 4 numbers of her ss # . the caller then asked her yearly income at which point my mother became suspicious and quit giving info and took the callers number....but this was "after the horse was let out of the barn" my mother is now running around blocking accounts and taking preventative measure for ID theft......I wish this was a real Discover number but Discover said they had no affiliation with it whatsoever...hope someone can stop thes crooks from phone phishing for this info.
