This is a call or text from Education Connection.  I tried looking it up and found nothing, so I called it.  At first, they told me that an employer was interested in me but they had to ask me a few questions for them.  Then they start asking me about furthering my education, and I said that I might be interested.  That was when they transferred me to someone who told me who they really were.  I just filled out a few applications and submitted my resume yesterday, maybe I clicked, or didn't unclick a checkbox for the school.  Don't call unless you're interested in school, not a job!

This has just happened to me. Don't get excited if u r looking for a job.

Craigslist Scam!  I applied for a clerical position.  They then asked about further my education.  I figured I was being roped into something.  Flag these people on Craigslist is you see them.

I also applied for a job from craiglist for a receptionist/scheduler position.  Didn't think much of it at the time when I was filling out part of the application when it asked about continuing my education. Afterwards-about 30 mins-they first called my cell phone with a Chicago, number(didn't answer it nor did they leave a message) and then I got a text message to call this number. I googled the number and yes it is a scam for continuing education.  I DID flag the scam on craigslist for this one.  (Very unprofessional for someone to text about job if you ask me-should have thought something was odd about this sooner)

I JUST APPLIED FOR THE JOB ON CRAIGSLIST AND RECEIVED A TEXT FROM 560-30 SAYING CALL 1-888-577-7791. BEING LEARY, I GOOGLES THE PHONE NUMBER AND THIS CAME UP! THANK YOU FOR STATING THIS FORUM.  I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL BUT I NEED A JOB MAKING THE 39,500 THEY ARE STATING. GRRRRR.... FLAGGING THEM NOW.

They've been calling me nonstop the past week. I get probably 10 calls a day from them. Now today, I got a text from 56030 "Hi [my name here] call me about this Clerical Assistant job you have applied for 8885777791 (txt STOP to cancel)

I got a text and called the number even after looking at this just to see if they would give me anything different, its funny because they asked me if I wanted to continue my education. I told the guy I had just gotten out of college and was not looking to further my education anytime soon and he hung up on me lol.

I applied to an HR Assistant job on craigslist and got a text saying to call this number.  I checked out the number immediately and found this site.

Thank you to all of you that posted this information, I applied on line for a bunch of positions and got the same email and text, when I called someone answer (no very professionally I might add) and asked me to call back since the system was down....sounded to odd, so I google the number and found all these messages...I will NOT Call these people ever!! thanks to all of you!!!
