They searched you current insurance. Happened to me. Am blocking their calls.

Asked for a quote yesterday from Liberty Mutual after Audi sent me a letter saying they had special rates negotiated. They were almost $100 a month more than my current Travelers policy with less coverage and 1000 deductibles.  I have 100 now and currently the deductible is vanishing,  Liberty Mutuals wasn't. They have called me 5 times already today starting 8am and it's only noon now.

I tried to get an online annual car and home insurance quote from Libery Mutual. First they gave me a total price that was higher than my current insurer, Hartford thru AARP. The strange thing was that the car price was about half of what all of the other insurance companies quoted AND the home price was about DOUBLE what the other insurance companies quoted. AND they didn't give me the actual quote showing exactly what they were offering to cover for the price they came up with.. Then they said they couldn't give me a quote and invited me to their online chat to see why. While waiting for the chat window to open, the message said their chat was now unavailable and to call them. Then I start getting all these calls from (888) 578-2146 which I don't answer since I don't recognize that number. An internet search indicates it's telemarketers from Liberty Mutual Insurance. If they offer an online quote them they need to PROVIDE an online quote. I don't trust them so I'm not doing business with them.

A 5 times already today, asked for online quote, said to call a 800 number, late at night. Liberty Mutual has called me 5 times already today and it's only 3:45pm. Finally blocked their number, not worth the aggravation.

I never requested a quote, online or otherwise, but they called me three times in an hour!

Liberty folks following up on a quote. Not only is the rate higher, I choose to do quotes on line because I don't want to talk to sales people.  So even if the rate was reasonable, I wouldn't ever call them back or do business with them because they are not respectful of my privacy.

Got a call within an hour of doing an online quote.  Left a voicemail identifying themselves as Liberty Mutual and to call back to make sure i had all the discounts that should be applied.  About $75 higher than State Farm for similar and/or lesser coverage.  Also could not do renters' insurance quote online.  Based on everyone else's comments, will immediately block the number so that I do not continue to get calls.

Yep!  They were quick, too.  If I wanted it, I would have bought it online.

I made the mistake of requesting a quote also - came back double my current rate and that was supposed to be a discount????  What a JOKE.  Blocked the number.  RIPOFF ARTISTS to the max@!

Same as others on here.  Called and got a much higher rate than I'm paying now and because phone number was required, I put one in. I also Put That I Cannot Speak (Literally Due To cancer). They've called 7 times

Unsolicited call shortly after looking at a far too high rate quote.  Did not answer the unethical [***].  Will not ever consider these overpriced and shamming insurance scum. Worse than lawyers.

I just got called. I went online for a Liberty Mutual auto insurance quote about thirty- forty minutes ago. I thought the high quote was just me. They want almost three times what my current company charges. Shameful insurance practices.

The quote I got was more than twice what we pay now. Ridiculous. And they said giving them my phone number wasn't going to be used to call me. Liars.

Yep, same for me.  Responded to info referencing auto insurance and have been waylaid, bombarded, wolf packed, prodded and poked via email offering coverage much in excess of what I now pay.  I wonder if these denizens of dishonesty ever cease their efforts and consider what [***] they are?
