    Several days ago I began receiving a number of calls from caller ID '800 Service'.  The number then was '1-866-720-4880'.  I didn't recognize the number and the caller never attempted to leave any messages, so I blocked it.

    Yesterday morning I received a call from caller ID '800 Service', but this time the number was 1-888-579-2540.  This morning I received a call from the same number (1-888-579-2540).  When I checked my phone, CID showed I  had received 3 calls back to back, each call having the exact same time and date stamp.  I didn't answer the call I heard ringing and again the caller never attempted to leave any messages.  Probably the same scammers.  Blocked.
