If you were really being sued, you would receive the notification via snailmail or carrier ... NOT via phone call!

Called my sister and told her that I used her for a reference and that it was regarding a civil suit. The thing is, I've never used my sister as reference. They gave her this number and a reference number for me to call.

I called the reference number and a lady answered litigation. The second time I no one answer and the third time I called a man answered only with hello this is Dave..

They call family, friends, and neighbors to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.

I haven't called thus number yet. But the lady that gave it to me said they were trying to deliver some papers to the person they were trying to get ahold of, so I'm supposed to give the person this number.

Said I had a "complaint" filed against me and that they had tried several times to reach me via certified letter. I work from home, so I know that isn't the case. Said they were just notifying me. I asked if I could call the courthouse to get verification, but they said it hadn't gone through the court, but it had a case number from the courthouse. They were very against me NOT calling the courthouse first...

Of course they wer43e because the people at the courthouse would tell you that they are liars, cheats, and crooks.  Read my post up there and remember that they have to prove you owe the debt, not the other way around.

Trust Mark National called saying that TD bank was charging me since 2010. I've never had an account with TD bank in my life. Called later and they didn't want to answer questions said I took up their time. No proof that I owed anything and said they would follow up if I wanted to pay started getting aggressive and threatening me with lawsuits from court

If you were the subject of a possible civil suit, you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other party.  You'd have a paper trail.  You would NOT first hear about this from a cold calling debt collector.  If they have a valid debt against you, tell them to send you a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good. They won't do this, so simply ignore and block the calls.

I got a similar call and they said i should expect  a legal document on Monday and they wanted me to call this number and give them my address so they can deliver it with out delay Monday.  It seemed totally  fake.
A real legal document is served by a formal process that requires a signature.

Got a call from 281-247-7362 saying that they were trying to contact someone I knew and had tried to contact that person two times. They said that my contact was listed as secondary method of contact.  I called the 888-580-0858 and they said that they were Trust Fund.  The rest is the same. Being served and getting a certified mail on Monday.
