When I call them back it says thank you for your interest. I do have a telemarketer block on my phone and in the do not call registry. This is a violation of law. How do I find out who this is and take legal action?

i have been receiving some call from those numbers (702 417 6851 and 888 584 0883). I did not know to whom they belong too. So when I try to call back , it could not go through.This is a violation of law.how do I find out who are they , and take legal action ?

i just received a call from the same number listed 888-584-0883.  Don't have any idea who they are, and when I call back it gets cut off.

They just keep calling me everyday.  When I answer, it just beeps and hangs up.  When I don't answer, there is no message in voicemail.  I called the number back and it was answered by an Indian-accented person claiming its U.S. Financial Services.  I asked to take my name off the calling list and she said thank you and hung up.

I just received a call and it was an Indian-accented male who said he was with United States Financial Services. He said I was able to get a grant and I only needed to pay for shipping and handling for the necessary paperwork to be shipped. When I asked him if I could call him back with an answer (I wanted to research before I gave someone money) he got angry, said I was being hesitant and that they would not call again, then hung up on me. I just searched on the BBB website and U.S. Financial Services is not BBB accredited. The business category is 'mortgages'. Additional info also says "According to information in Bureau files, it appears that this company is no longer in business. The phone numbers the Bureau had for this company are disconnected, and directory assistance does not have a listing for this company. The Bureau's mail to this company has been returned as undeliverable." You'd think if they give out government grants, the BBB would have them on record. Be careful if you're contacted by them.

THIS IS A SCAM. This is the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, doggie, fabulous vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, etc. They may send you a fake check, or may want your card info or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. Complain to US Postal Service Inspectors https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.
