Pretending to be from Rent to Own.Com. Asked me about my credit history. When told that I don't discuss my credit history with people that I don't know they put me on hold for a 20 dollar gift card. The hold message said have your credit card handy...Who does that... Big Time Scam Artist....

They have called me three to four times daily (on my cell phone!!!) for almost a month.  And never once have they left any message.  One day I just punched answer, laid the phone down and went about my business.  Such a nuiscance!

This so called company took my phone number on-line and are calling me leaving no messages. Companies should state there buisness and wait for your response.

Just dialed the call back on a blocked number and a woman answered and said "Credit Repair, this is Sherry.'

I signed up for renttoown.com and shortly after, I received a call from this number.  The lady answered as "credit repair!"  What, I thought it was rent to own calling me to help me find a home.     I explained this to her and she replied that some companies use them to help people repair their credit.   I explained that it does'nt state this on the website.  very misleading.    So I asked her, "how does this credit repair thing work, do you all call our creditors to negotiate balances and payments?"  She said, " no, we just call other companies to have them do that".  I said,"  Ok, well take me off the list because I can do that myself."  So she put me on the do not call list.      I just wanted to find a home.  Wow!

yes i signed up for rent to own, then this calls everyday, but dont answer when you pick up. no mesg either. annoying

This number called my number at 8:19 am on a Sunday morning. I 've read the comments and I did sign up for a rent to own! Big mistake, I had no idea I would start getting annoying calls from a credit repair scam artist. Blocked number.

well looks like I made a huge mistake for signing up for renttoown. I just wanted to find a house for me and my future husband so we can get out of this awful apartment.
