888-585-1489

Called landline at 9:32 AM, CID 800 service, answering machine picked up a few seconds of background noise and a female saying hello.  In searching this number I found reports from a similar number, 888-585-3568 here on 800notes, a potential American Express debt collection scam.  I don't owe AMEX anything, and if it were a legitimate call they would leave a message.

Called my cell phone this morning. No message left. Blocked.

Called against n at 12:22 PM, and his time I answered.  Trump reelection campaign looking for donations.  Probably legit, but I'll write checks when I feel like it, not when the phone rings.

It's the RNC....they call 2-3 times a day under different numbers. I have answered once and told them not to call again that I do not support the RNC, I donate direct to candidates directly.
