They have been calling about once a week for about a month. they don't leave a message so I am thinking it is a debt collector

I think this is a legitimate call, but they seem to have a few incorrect patient numbers on file.  I called back and they asked if my name matched the person they were trying to reach.  Once I assured them that I was not that person, they were quick to say they would remove the number from that patient's file.

When they call, they ask for persons I do not know. They do not care and call at any time.

This is a billing office for St. Luke's Hospital in NYC.  It is NOT a collection agency.

This is the billing company for Mt Sinai, Roosevelt and St. Luke's hospitals. It is a legitimate business, But not a legitimate call.
They should be calling my secondary insurance but they refuse. They want me to do for free the job they get paid to do.
