I had planned surgery there on my knee.  They didn't ask for my co-pay they sent it straight to collections and because that's how they want to handle themselves they're never getting that money and i live right near that so if they keep calling I'm going to see if they stop calling when I tell them in person.

i work for beth israel medical center billing department. I don't want to use my real name, but the reason many people get over billed or there is a lot of mistake on bill is because we're under staff. we try very hard to resolve all billing error the best we can. If there a mistake it take a lot of time to resolve it.

this number has called my non-published number. have no connection with Beth Israel.  They are harrassing people

I had surgery there, called after surgery and was told I didn't owe anything, that it was all covered by insurance. A year later I get a letter from my insurance company saying their insurance claim was denied and the reason given was that Beth Israel took too long to submit its claim. And then I get a call this morning from Beth Israel collection agency? Nope. They're not getting a penny from me and they're not going to be allowed to harass me because of *their* mistake, not mine.

Contact your State's Insurance Commision Office. Your insurance carrier is required by law to send an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) within a certain number of days notifying you of the reason why your claim was denied, with your rights to appeal.

If it's a hospital, then it's a funny one. I never went there ever. WTF would they call my cell phone then? Dumb [***].

They called last month-i paid on the spot used a credit card. Won't ever do that again - Never do that folks. Now getting calls and letters again.
Seems the are up to their old tricks . It sad such a fine hospital with so many dedicated works gets pulled down by this. The hospital needs to train this crew or give the work to folks who love this city. i live in this neighborhood-we don't need to have our sick and elderly preyed upon.
