Received a call from Direct TV 888 588-9921 regarding a promotion free movie channels for the two-year. If I pay for months upfront of $74 a month  for DIRECTV and AT&T Wi-Fi sounds suspicious   not sure if this is a scam or not I did not do it

This is a scam ,I paid $300  ebay gift card six month worth of my bill but after next day phone number is not working

This is a legit promotion, i just got this 3 months ago and i am enjoying the premier package and NFL at only $69.99 .

I was also called on this promotion, also asks for ebay gift card payment of the next 8 months. Is it legit?

ITS A TOTAL SCAM....I called the promotional line they also have the direct tv intro sound...I called asking to change my channel line up and add the NFL pkg...the guy didn't know what to do...I then started asking for a supervisor...he just hung up

Scam just hit two to change your channel line up they'll tell you they can help you

Prepay $300 for four months of Directv Xtra (235 channels) plus all premium movies channels at a total monthly billing of $74.99/month guaranteed for 24 months.  Must purchase an Ebay $300 cash card to prepay and give card number and an alpha numeric code to the "Directv Promotions Department Operator" at 210-588-9921.  My call to an actual Directv representative revealed that the telephone number was not one of theirs and the promotion was not verified as authentic. "If it sound too good to be true, it probably isn't."

Direct TV WILL NOT contact customers to purchase a prepaid Ebay Card. All Direct TV or AT&T promotions DO NOT require ANY purchase of a prepaid gift card from  ANYWHERE!!!

Also, DO NOT let the 800-531-5000 c/s number (Direct TV's phone number) fool you, they have the tech to "SPOOF" the phone number. 100% a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They just tried it on me today.  They wanted me to call in with a $300 Ebay gift card to pay for my first 2 months of a 24 month agreement.  2 years of Sunday Ticket and all the movie channels.

They just called me back again showing the Directv phone number on my caller ID(800-531-5000).  I told them I googled the billing phone number 888-588-9921 and it came back with a scam warning.  He immediately hung up.
