I got an email supposedly from Norton 360 saying my Norton coverage had been upgraded at a cost of $269.99. I called Norton from their own website and found that it was a fraudulent email. Be aware and do not call the number. There may be toll charges.

888 is a toll free number.  Toll charges are not the reason you should not be calling it.

Phone number was in an obviously fake email message pretending to be from PayPal, almost certainly a ransomeware attempt:

Actually it is a CROOK trying to get remote access to your computer to add malware (or steal your information).
