I got a call from this number for a loan approval. after searching the web i have found no trace of them. They claim to be with york international. Has anyone heard of it or is this all crap?

This is a complete scam. Do not give them any personal information. I was gullible and did, now they have my SS#, paystub and driver's license. I had to close my checking acct as I gave them my routing and account number as well. They said I was approved for a $25000 loan but had to send them $1000 insurance policy premium first. They gave me a person's name to send the money via Western Union. The person is in Toronto. I work for an attorney and they researched and found out that this is a complete scam. Thank God I didn't send them the money. I had a bad feeling about this from the beginning but I really needed the money and was about to send it.

omg. we just sent them money. we are supposedly waiting for the money to come back because the loan didnt go through! we sent $2300.

Everything that has been said above is true! We were unfortunately burnt by them! Is there any way to file a lawsuit or something?
