Received several calls now from Premier Bank.  The caller left the number 888-604-9424 on our answering machine.  She said to call her back on an urgent matter.  I gave them a call as I was concerned that my wife's identify had been stolen.  They asked for my wife's SSN and I refused to give it to them.  They said they could not pull the information up by her name.  I asked them what kind of business this was and the lady on the other end would not give me that information.  She simply stated this was a business matter and would not disclose what kind of business it was.  After doing some research on the web, it looks like many others have been getting these types of calls and it looks to be a scam in order to get your SSN.  We of course immediately checked our credit reports and found no record of this card.

Thank you so much for posting this.  I had the same thing occur, and it was great to be able to Google the information and see what was going on.  I received a total of ten messages!

This just happened to me a called from a blocked number, the message was for me to call premier bank regarding my account within 4 days. When i called them the first thing they asked was for account # and then SSN right away. The operator told me "Premiere Bank" was who i was calling is located in South Dakota only. Total scam do not give them your SSN.

I also received a message on my answering machine requesting me to call asap.  When I called a voice answered "may I please have your card number" - when I said I didnt have a card, he said he couldnt help me any further without having the number. Do not give any information to them.

Lol you guys are pitiful. That numbe rbelongs to collections and identity theft from First Premier Bank. They are legitamit and only ask for your last 4 digits.

I got a call from this number too. It IS First Premier Bank. My wife and I both have credit cards from them. It was regarding our account...not a scam.

They have many financial services including Personal Banking, Business Banking and Credit Cards. Call them back, it could be important.  In my case, they were calling us because of a bogus charge made in Nigeria. They were trying to help prevent fraud.  Their systems base your account on your SS#, that is why they ask for it.  They can usually look up your information with a phone number too, but they still need to verify you are the one who is allowed to talk to them.  That is why they need your SS#.

I got a call from this number too. It is an actual credit card company. First Premier Bank.  Not a scam.  If you're receiving calls and do not have a card with them, there's a possibility that your identity has been stolen.

No, they want ALL of your digits.

You must be part of the scam then because we got this urgent call from this supposed bank and we don't have a bank card which they referred to nor do we do any business with any bank! Never call this or any other number left on your machine about your financial affairs! Call your bank, credit union or credit card directly!

First Premier Bank Spoof # 1605

It is a scam, I just got a call from them. They wanted my SSN, card number, address, phone number. I hung up and called First Premier on their actual number and they confirmed the call was not from them. They told me not to give them any information if they ever call back.

I have a First Premier Bank Card and they were calling me from the collections department.  They were calling to let me know that I missed a payment.  I am not a deadbeat.  I was traveling, made numerous on line payments and missed this one.

My complaint is that they call from a blocked number.  During this political season, I do not answer unknown caller / unknown number when it comes up on caller ID.  If you are calling me from a banking institution, you will call me from a listed number and identify yourself.  Otherwise, I will not talk to you.  I finally answered out of frustration and they told me to call the 888 604 9424 number.

This is a valid number for First Premier Bank.  Their website asks for the same information....card #, password and three digit check code.

Def sounds like a scam. They actually called up my job instead of my cell, and told them i owe them money and to call them back. I called them from my cell and she called me by my name so she knew my number. I kept asking why she was calling and "Julie" said she couldn't give me any info unless i told her my 16 digit card number or my ss#. Never did any business with Premiere Bank before, I refused of course but thats just low..... calling my job?

OMG !!! These jerks called me too stating they were proceeding with legal action and taking me to court etc etc etc over a premier bank account. OMG!!!! scam artist the company uses scare tactics to get your bank account information and money.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT A LEGAL COMPANY KNOWS THEY CAN NOT THREATEN YOU ETC.. DONT RETURN THEIR CALLS OR GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION THEY NEED TO GO TO FRIKEN PRISON!!!!!

I don't know what planet you are from lady or man.... but this is a fake company as I called premier bank and this is definitely not the number.

This is not a scam...it is definitely First Premier Bank's collections department.  I called this number as a backdoor when the regular customer service number was unavailable.  They were able to take care of the issue I was having, and no one stole anything from me.  If you do not have a card #, they will transfer you to another department who will be able to help you without it.  While you all are thinking it is a scam, you are not taking care of whatever it is they are calling about, and it is hurting your credit more because you either owe them money or someone has stolen your identity.  Get it taken care of ASAP.
