- SO Tired of these idiotsGot a missed called with the ridiculous message: there will be a 3 second pause, if you continue to listen you are verifying that you are the person we are calling for. Well the problem here: I have NO outstanding debt, haven't for 13 years.... checked my credit report to make sure and YEP no collections. haven't gotten a letter stating anything, just this call. Will not call them back, not going to worry myself about these idiots, other than to post it on here. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME calling them, just a bunch of lowlifes with crappy jobs making others feel bad. I've tried to argue and let them know I had no debt many years ago and just ended up getting so mad I cried. Last time these butt heads get that from me. S*ck it jerks! Sending a letter to the FTC about these people. Such a scam. Probably trying to collect on old data that isn't even accurate or affecting my credit anymore.....OH and what's so 'Stellar' about this service?!? Jerks.

- debt collector - had wrong personI had to change my number a few years back and apparently the person with this number before me owed A LOT of people A LOT of money. I called back and explained they had the wrong person and to remove my number and they claimed to have done so no problem. I have had my phone number for several years and they clearly have OLD info.

- CelesteWe received two calls one from 888 613-0232 and 5 minutes before from 617 275-2458
they wanted us to pay our debt on Comcast. We don't have Comcast. We ended that service two years ago with a zero balance.
This is a scam in my opinion to get credit card numbers. But what I found very disconcerting was they called my husband's cell phone but asked for me. How they got his cell phone number I can understand as I think they are now public info but how they got my FIRST NAME.....(they didn't know my last name) struck me as very strange.
Please God, the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit is on to these criminals. - syjust another garbage call---my advice never respond to a no name call-this will frustrate them and they may continue to call, but cant do a thing--DO NOT BE DUMB ENOUGH TO PICK UP OR CALL BACK. Thats what they want and say they made contact--they are allowed 2 calls in 7 days. any more is a violation of FDCPA LAW and a good lawyer can sue them---Document all calls with date and time called.
- EmberI get called on my pay-as-you go phone from this number. The caller id says "No Name" so I do not answer as I most certainly am not going to answer some call from a person/place I do not know. After reading all the above posts, since I don't owe any debts and pay my bills on time it is probably someone calling me mistakenly and will just ignore them when they come in just like I always do. It's already been reported by me at the places listed by others and nothing has been done by any of those agencies to stop those calls so the only course of action open to me at this time is to ignore them. It costs money now to block numbers like this on my cell phone. Home phone too. Tired of shelling out for these folks who keep calling erroneously because the look up these numbers on the internet websites that are so out of date, then the party on the other end tells you that you owe stuff for the other person and they just don't believe you aren't the one who listed the number on the internet in the first place. Both my home and cell are private and UN-published which I pay for and I am NOT the party listed on the internet and no clue as to whom those folks were.

- CMWe've received continuous calls from this number for the last year. Always an automated number - asking for different persons! Does the company (if legitimate) just trying auto dialing thousands of numbers and hope they get the right person?
This is so tiring and there's no way to stop it. When it first started, I called back and said, wrong person. The rep said, oh, ok, we'll take this number off the list. Yeah, right......- Call type: Debt collector
- donovan jezeriousStellar recovery. bought old debts from comcast. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GET THE MR. NUMBER APP FOR YOUR CELL PHONES. I have had the APP for 5 months now and I added this number as a spam caller to my block list and I have not heard from them since. no missed calls in my log no messages. get MR NUMBER and turn your spam filter on and any number that comes up as spam is instantly blocked. free app, get it and save yourself the headache. Best part, the second they call you your phone picks up and immediately hangs up on them. no issues.

- Ms. SI keep getting phone calls from this number a few times a week for a few months now. Every time I would answer they were looking for Matt Hess, whom I do not know, and I have had this phone number for over 3 years so Im not sure why they would be calling for him now if he had it 4+ years ago.
The calls havent stopped, I called their corporate office number today (888-638-6775) and asked to have this number removed because they just keep calling and the lady I spoke to was very nice and apologetic. Not sure if the calls will stop though. I hate debt collectors. If they spent two seconds to do their research into the person they are actually trying to find they could be a much more profitable industry. Instead they hire anyone with a pulse and give them a list of numbers the person they are looking for could have been reached at maybe at one given time. Ugh.- Caller: Stellar Recovery

- Edie HaverbergMy husband and I received a call from this company yesterday. They asked for a name of someone we did not recognize. They left a message on our answering machine, leaving no details of the situation, other than this is a debt collection. We did not call back. How do we get these people to stop calling for someone else?

- danielWhat kind of hateful person does someone have to be to talk to someone they don't know the way Stellar employees do? And these fools have your name and address, all you have is a name that may or may not be their real name. And comcast uses these gangsters. I dropped comcast, asked them how much my final bill was, paid that amount then the next month they had another bill for $34.00. within a month they had Stellar harrassing me. To hell with comcast and stellar.
- SLI recently got a new cellphone number and have also been receiving calls from this 888-613-0232 number asking for some dude, I ve never heard of. I've now ignored their calls but they just keep calling using different numbers and leaving a recorded voicemail on my phone. How do I bar them from calling me again?
