If you do not have a federal student loan please disregard this message. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon." - I don't have a student loan tied to this number.

My daughter received this same call.  I called them back b/c she's at work and did not have the ability to return the call.  They answered with "are you calling to apply for a student loan?"  I told them I was calling on behalf of my daughter who received their call, she responds like a robot on drugs "would you like to apply for student loan forgiveness?"  I told them it sounded like a scam and to not call back.  Thinking they are preying on college students so they can get their ss# or other info to sell.

Got this call however about a month ago I called to check on my student lone and was told I was on forgiveness till July of next year

Same message as above I received today! Thanks for all the comments, it helped confirm my suspicions.
