888-618-2554

Get a call from this # 3-4 (sometimes more) times a day. Very annoying! They never leave a message, and I don't answer #'s that I don't know. The caller id only says 800 Service.

I received a call at 11:45 EDT from this number. I identified myself politely. The speaker at 888-618-2554 said that his name was Randy. After 2 or 3 seconds he disconnected and did not try to call back.

I received a call from 888-618-2554 at 11:45 EDT on May 16, 2012. I politely identified myself with our family name. The caller said that his name was Randy. After 1 or 2 seconds he hung up and did not call again.

Got several calls from this number, never left a message.  Finally, i answered and it was 'IDT energy', offering to lower my electric bill.  I have heard of this scam before.  The lady, krystle, was very pushy and I felt odd answering in any way.  "This is IDT Energy and we are going to lower your electric bill, OK?"  

Do yourself a favor and don't answer.  It may not have been IDT energy, and just a scammer masking their caller ID.

I never answer the phone when this number pops up, but they called twice in an hour and left no voicemail.

I also got a phone call from this number, and they identify themselves as IDT energy, and they ask me to record some kind of messages to verify to the discount that they are going to apply to my electricity bill. I recorded couple times and it didn't get through for some reason, then I was really suspicious that it is a scam, then the guy seems it is hard to put me through this, then he just hang up.

It is a number that you can't return the call to. I really think this is a scam!

These people are scum......  I don't answer, but they keep calling.   If I ever find out who they are, maybe I can send a couple hundred thousand phone calls to them some how?   freakin scum.

Call the CEO personally ( see Dec 04 post) and ask for his home number, then call his home six times a day and not leave messages.

Just an FYI: at least for the state of PA if you are on the do not call list and they call you they have to pay you $1,000.00 for each call.. if you are over 60yrs then $3,000.00 per call.

I recently had some people come by and get me to /almost/ switch to an electric company called "clearview" and that company called me to confirm and I canceled it once I realized what happened, but now this number is calling me and leaving voicemails supposedly on clearview's behalf thanking me for switching, and is NOT the original number that called me claiming to be them

there trying to hack your computer. i’m not sure how it works if your computer has to be on the same line/ router is your phone or if there just getting the info the need from your phone but the hang up when they got what they were looking for.

Called today. no message. I did just switch to Clearview from Inspire (saving over $0.10 per kwh)
adding it to my contacts, will answer next time, and report back if shady.
ATT mobile just called it silenced call.

I usually don’t answer numbers I don’t recognize, but it was an ‘800’ #
(I was expecting a call from an 800 # so I answered).  I said “hello”, & there was silence.  I said “hello” one more time & waited, still no response…so I hung up.
Pisses me off, it was probably the scammers who stole my family’s gift card #.
