This popped up while I was on a website called truck in America. I was trying to look up information so I could get my wheelchair connector fixed. That included looking for ball and hitch changes. It was in this web page that I was given this pop up page

Defender windows 10 64 bit error

I got this message box while on my desktop from this number with a message that my Microsoft had been hacked. It gave me a security message with 43ez61.pw. It said that I had an infected Chrome browser. Also saying it was a Trojan Backdoor Hijack with this a long lumber. It totally locked up my computer. I called the number to ask what was going on and asked them how can I verify they are legitimate and asked if they would need to have remote access to my computer and they said yes! Then I told them no and that I was calling my internet service provider. Which also appeared on the message box along with my ISP address! Upon calling my Internet Service provider they tol me to shut down the computer and unplug all connection cables and wait an hour to turn it back on! Is this BS coming from Microsoft, Google Chrome, a recent website that I was on or the Office 2010 program that was recently installed on my computer! Anyone one have any input on where this BS is coming from and how to put a stop to it. Now I have to worry that someone is running off with my identity! I would have thought that with Norton antivirus they would have not let this get by them! I am furious!

I got a annoying pop ups with this number on my computer. Claim to be Microsoft. Used all of Microsoft icons in the page.

Keeps popping up.  I close as many applications as I can -- this one on Google Bing will not close --- then I do either a "shutdown" or "restart" and computer comes up fine.  I believe this is a scam and will shutdown or restart to get rid of it.  Do not click on the download.

Outright scam, call center. They will try to get you to allow them remote access to your computer.  If you challenge them at all, they will quickly throw tantrum and throw string of vulgarities

I called not realizing they would gain access. I quickly shut it down. Please help!

Don't call this number, these guys are scammers who try to steal your money. You don't actually have a virus.
