I called this number because in my bank statement it appears they tried taking $200. It says online website and its from  company calle Shop. Its like pay-pal that many "consumers use" I called to see what F was going on with them taking that much $ when I don't have internet access since then to make an online payment especially that amount of money!!

Thats scary, That # appeared in my bank statement. Called it and the only option is to talk to an associate. No answer

This appeared also on my bank account. I never used this as an authorized purchase, nor made any online purchases. The number is on the bank statement for over 200 dollars. Has anyone shopped online recently?

This number and "shop web-payment" took $204.00 from my account. When called the number, a transfer of the call and there was no answer.

I also had 214.00 dollars taken out of my account on 12-28-2011. I have more info for the others who has had this happen, I called the number and a India man answered the phone, in the back ground I could hear a woman and kids yelling, he would not give me any info on or who did this but I told them it's turned over to the police he then reply all money would be put back, funny thing I didn't give him anything but my name. Please report this to your bank so they maybe able to track this person down.

My MIL who doesn't even own a computer (I pay her bills online) had $263.95 out of her account from 888-618-9108SHOP WEBPAYMENT (the description) on 1/3. Called the number, transferred to an associate, no answer. We filed a police report and the bank got the money back. Interestingly, about 4 months ago, same MIL had $369 out of her account as a draft (check) to a company called Legal Eye. I called them, they explained what they do (heavy accents). I asked them to email me the authorization that MIL signed, she said she would, but that it can be cancelled anytime within the first 30 days. I said please send me the authorizations, but yes, cancel. She said I would have money back within 5 business days. Never happened, no fax. No money. Filed police report. Money back in account from bank. Can it be the same person trying a different scam??

I called the 888-618-9108, talked to Daniel about the charge and asked to be removed and credited back to my mother's account.  He agreed and said it will happen within 10 days.  He also gave me a conformation number.  Let's see whether the account gets the money back.

I also got  ripped off on my bank statement by these creeps.  I have gone to the bank and submitted a complaint and the bank has put a stop on the withdrawal hopefully I will get it reversed.  I called the phone # on the bank statement and the guy that answered (Daniel) said it was for a discount shopping card. Yeah right for 203 dollars!! My conversation with him sent up lots of red flags and I went straight to the bank.

This is a SCAM. I called the 1-888-618-9108 that I got from my Bank. A Daniel Freeman answered. The amount 203.95 taken out of my checking account is for a online shopping credit card that I never applied for, apparently back in November. I drilled him a new one and demanded for my money to be put back within 24 hrs. if not the Attorney General will get all of this information. I filed a fraudulant charge with my Bank and will figure out to make my checking account more secure in light of this. And I would suggest for everyone to do the same.

Did you ever get your money back? I threatened him with the State Attorneys office and demanded for my money to be put back within 24 hrs. He said it would be. Hope for his sake it is, otherwise I will hunt me some Daniel Freeman.

Thank you for posting about this number!!!!!  It came across our account.  I called the 888 number and it rang and rang and rang.....no answer.  I promptly called my bank and went to the claims department.  Uggh!!!!!  Thanks again for bring this to light.  You saved me some hassle from trying to figure out what it is.

My mother was charged 153.95 from this company. She had no idea what it was and doesn't even have a computer.She doesn't even remember getting a call from a number like this. I would like to know how they are getting peoples bank account info. My mother is on a fixed income and due to this charge she is now overdrawn. She has been charged a number of insufficient fund fees because this caused her not to have the money to pay bills she had written checks for. When they went through she didn't have the money, and still has more to go, so she will be charged more if it's not taken care of in time. I tried calling the # as well and pressed 0 to speak to a representative and then got no answer. What can be done to stop these people?

Got a Charge on my bank this morning 3/1/2012 never used this service, called bank to stop payment, they said they used my account # i never give my account to anyone, bank doesn't know how they are doing it

This number 888-618-9108 that appear in the transaction of my online banking with Bank of America was able to withdraw $203.95 from my account just today 3/09/12. I called up the bank and the bank said that they could not do anything to stop the payment because they already released it. I called up the number 1-888-618-9108 and the guy who answered said that they will return the money thru my bank account. I don't know if I will believe the guy that they will return the money. Now I have to open a new account and transfer the money left in my account. How can this hackers access bank accounts just like that. Can the banks do something to stop this bank robbery?

Similar thing happened with my mom; $200+ transaction to 888-618-9108shop on 2/10/12. She did not authorize it.  She does not own a computer and she is very meticulous at tracking her card transactions, so it caught her attention as soon as she looked at her monthly USBank statement.

please post where u last made a purchase online someone is selling our info to these crooks.i just used amazon recently.how about u
