Had a call come up as "unknown" this morning. Voicemail message says it's "PDI" and I am due to be served papers. Goes on to say that since my social security number is attached to the documents they are "unable to continue without address verification" and I "need to call them to verify my address". Ummm, ok, pretty sure I'm not gonna be giving out my address to some random. Here's a thought, mail me whatever you claim is filed against me so I have a chance to dispute it first. You know, like you're supposed to. Pretty sure anyone filing a lawsuit will send papers to any address they think that person may be hanging out at or living..without them "verifying" it.

They're doing the same thing to me. Caller ID shows random name but the same #. Idiot asks for someone I don't know and keeps calling etc. Wish I could reach through the phone!

They gave me the exact same story in the voicemail. I had to listen to it several times bc she was talking so fast ( sign of deceit) that I couldn't understand her. She gave me a name of someone I don't know. If I knew how to report them, I would.

Left message same as other reviewers (PDI). Name and address of ex 24 years, whom haven't laid eyes on in same amount of time. Told me it was from a process server's office, and not to worry because they've called and corrected info. Sketchy

Someone from this number called my landlord with the same story. I called back and got someone on the phone who identified the company as "CNA". I asked them for a mailing address to which I could send a "cease and desist" letter, at which point the person on the phone refused and started calling me names. I filed a report online with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and left it to them to follow up.

Same story I received a voicemail from lady saying her name and she was from PDI wanted to deliver papers to me but needed to confirm my home address. I will not be calling her back

These people left personal information with someone who was dog sitting for me. They too said I had court documents they needed to serve.. Has anyone actually gotten anything from them

You are NOT warned if a summons is coming.  Phone calls, emails, faxes, & texts are NOT an official notification.  That would be a letter that is mailed (accept nothing else) which would give the company name, dates, amount due, etc.  It is also illegal to discuss matters with a third party (your dog sitter).  Report them to your state attorney general's office.

Notice one earlier poster was refused when he asked for the company name & address.  That is also a violation of the FDCPA!!

They called my place of employment and said they were going to serve me and asked for my boss!! When I called they were so rude and disrespectful I could not even find out who I owed money too!  I told them to mail me or call me directly well we have she said.. Then she called me crazy because I asked for a higher up to get more information

Calls my sister in law has called my phone, called my place of employment with same story as the others, gonna be served....very rude fast talking, called my mother in law and told her it was not gonna be "good" for me if i didn't comply.....turned them in to attorney general in florida, better business Bureau and sheriff's dept....

Called my boss at work and was told to call them back. I returned the call to be told it was from Kay jewelers and that legal action was pending.
