Received a voicemail today from a very serious man today at Armand, O'Connor & Bach who wanted to inform me that I have the right to know about an action their client is about to take in reference to my social security number.  Apparently I have not responded to any of their correspondence sent to my address.  But if I or my authorized representative call by 8pm tonight Eastern at a toll number they've set up for my convenience, I can learn more.  Oddly their number showed up as coming from Pinehurst, TX 832 479 0456 where there is no such law firm.

They represent an LLC and my name and social security number are in the office and client will be filing something.

They are calling me about a pending lawsuit that impacts me supposedly

I've received several calls from this Armand, O'connor & Bach from austin Pa claiming someone has filled suit against me wanting me to contact them this is a scam if you contact them they will get as much info from you as the can and more than likely use it to fraud you our local news had a story about this type of fraud calls don't answer it, don't respond lol

That town has a population of a whole 623 people.  I doubt there is a debt collection firm located there.  Fairly new name for a criminal enterprise.  We will figure out where they are at eventually.

I received 3 voice mail messages from this scam law firm (not a law firm).  The first was about my brother and I needed to contact them with my information, the second was that I was being named in a lawsuit and they needed me to call back with my information such as my ss number.   I knew they were a scam because I dont answer calls I do not recognize anymore with all the scammers so I check first.  I then called back and told them off, told them I knew they were frauds and scammers and blocked the call.  I am sick of these calls and the do not call list is crap!

Got a call from a man saying he worked for law offices of Armond, O'Connor and Bach. Said they were calling regarding and issue with my name and social. They claimed to have sent letters to my home address. Never did they say who they were calling for, or give any information about the problem at hand. Definitely a scam. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION!

I received another call from the bogus Armon, O'Conner and Bach.  I had blocked the toll free number and this time they called me from 520-277-0648.  They tried to tell me this was about my brother?  My family lives across the country!  I cannot find an address associated with this number so I blocked this number again and advised them I knew they were a scam and to stop calling me!  I cant believe so many scammers are able to get our information so easily such as a unlisted phone number and the phone is not even in my name!  I get scam calls all the time and they seem to be relentless!

They called my sister asking for me. They said it was an important matter concerning my background and to return their call at 8886450772 because they had a criminal file in their office... claiming to be an buffet of lawyers O'Connor and Armour and Bach. I don't know how they got my sister's phone number. And not call me. It was really suspicious and shady... BEWARE! DON'T ALLOW THEM TO TALK TO YOU! BECAUSE THEN THEY GET TO CALL YOUR FAMILY AND HARRAS YOU AND THEM TOO. My sister called me scared because she thought I was in trouble. But thank God I found this webpage.  STAY ALERT!!

I have received the call from this (888-645-0772) number.  I am tired of all these scam phone calls that harrass me.

I gget the exact same call every Wednesday and Friday that you just mentioned. Scams really piss me off.

I have been receiving the same call pretending to be from Armand, O'Connor & Back from an Englishtown exchange # 732-490-1289.  It is a scam but the first time they have tried to use a lawsuit to get my personal information.  Please DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THIS GROUP.

I believe that I have found them.  Everyone is spelling the name wrong.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I have received 2 automated calls over the last week (same as others have noted). Today a live person called me from 877-900-0658 asking for a Barbara XXX, I asked what company he is calling from and he informed me it was Armand O'Connor and Bach. I let him know he has the wrong #, as this is my work # and to not call back. We'll see if this works.

Leaving messages about lawsuit.

Same people called from the same "law firm".  State they have a case with my SS# and have tried to reach me without any reply.  Caller ID stated Greensboro NC.  Phony scammers who call twice a day every day!
