Called my DNC registered landline. No voicemail. I've been getting calls from several numbers for duct cleaning, chimney inspections and furnace inspections. It's that time of the year when these scammers cold call.

Called twice and did not leave a message.  Based on other comments I have blocked this number.  Thanks everyone!

I have blocked this number before, and still it is able to get through.  Are scammers able to prevent their number from being blocked?

I am on the do not call list. How is it these people can call me. I did block there number after the call but I would like to go further with some kind of action. I am tired of constant phone interruptions at night. Why am I given a choice to block the number after the call when I should not have gotten the call in the first place. I'm sick and tired of this and I'm not going to take it any more.

No message. These scammers call from many numbers using different names from locations in NY and NJ. I'm on the DNC.

Contact your local senator. add your name to the current petition Senator Cody has going to STOP THESE CALLS once and for all. Find his petition on line and sign it. these people won't be stopped til the FCC finally does their job. and the DNC list is a joke. 99.9% of these bogus calls come from VOIP which means thru their computers which means almost never traceable. don't answer phone numbers you don't know. if they need you let them leave a message.  beware and be well.
