I received a message from them and called back.  They said something about serious legal repercussions.  I pay ALL of my bills, track everything online/in a spreadsheet, and don't go out much except to work or be with my family so I am curious to see what this is all about.

Received several voice mails at work for a person I do not know (this is my direct line and has been for over 2 years). Very unprofessional woman (clearing her throat, coughing, sounds like a tv on in the background) saying her name is "Alene" or something like that with AFS or AFA (hard to understand with the above going on) and that either this person or their attorney needs to call them right away on an urgent legal matter. Then says that if they don't get a call they will be serving a legal summons at the person's place of employment. Um, hello? Illegal, for one. For another, no legit collector would do that. We get a lot of these types of calls around here on various lines, some with a name of who they are looking for, some without. Lots of threatening and illegal BS and we discuss it over coffee and laugh. Total shakedown scam. Wish one would come through while I was sitting here.....I would answer, record the whole conversation, and then forward it to the po-po. Be careful people. If it sounds weird, it most likely is just that. Lots of this going on.

Got a message from this number about my case being reviewed, I won't call them back because it sounds like a scam.

These people have been harrasing me at work for 2 years now. A Ms. Collins. Saying I have defrauded a bank. LOL. If i did that I would already be in jail sweetie. Something very fishy about this company. They have been threatening to sue my, put a lien on vehcile, take me to court, throw me in jail, but when I call they won't provide me with the name of their company. SCAM and HARRASMENT if you ask me. Just embarassing that they call me at work. I have filed complaints with FTC and it has done no good. I don't even get a response. The first thing they ask for when you call them is your social security number and first and last name. That's enough for them to steal your credit. Somehow they now exactly what I drive for a vehicle. Which is scary, because chances are they have access to my personal information some how. Scary!

These bottom feeders are from a collection agency called ASG
They are located in Buffalo, NY. Company is owned by someone named
Anthony Friscairo(not sure of spelling). They try to collect on old payday loans,
which are illegal in most states.
Report them to AG in NY stat, AG in your state, FTC and BBB ! Also call them back as many times as they

they will get very offensive over the phone, insult your intelligence and are extremely aggressive.  watch out people for these scammers

There is a particular Mr. Phillips, watch out for his aggressive demeanor.  It's quite entertaining.  This is all a scam.  I have no idea how they obtain your personal information.
