Forcefully trying to get info from me

They claim they are calling about a case of possible litigation. It's a total scam. You do not get called before you are sued by anybody. They claim it's from wells fargo(at least for me) but wells fargo has no record of them or the debt.

Called about a complaint and legal action/lawsuit against me. They would like me to call them back to discuss. I didn't know lawsuits are handled over the phone now?!?!

They left a message threatening a lawsuit and a reference number. Said his name was Dennis Detter”

Caller with no caller ID called and engaged me. I told her I was not going to share my whereabouts for tomorrow, thanks very much. She said she was trying to arrange service of legal documents, mentioned court. I hung up. She called back, same lady. American accent. Said they have tons of information on me and rattled off an old address and my present address. I told her it was obvs a scam. She gave me this number to call - said call R&R Group and give them a case number. I'm not doing that. Sounds like BS

Mystery woman claiming to be representing a firm filing a lawsuit against me. I worked in the legal field for many years and this is a total scam. Do not give out any personal information to these con artists.

I have received the same as everyone else and they have mention a lawsuit with reference number. I know it a scam because I wasn’t the one who received the phone call. One of my family members received a call asking for me. This sounds so weird and it was an unknown number.

This is a scam to get your personal information which some they already have by digging Social Media,  Public records, friends in higher places selling it to them,  it happens,

Called my phone and my husband's phone two times each asking for a person not in our immediate family -- calling to discuss a matter for consideration of legal action ... filling of a lawsuit. Told to immediately contact the firm handling your file and reference file number (they provided a file number).  They said it is a time sensitive matter -- if no response today or within 24 hours, they will be forced to proceed without your consent.

Called asking for.my son.I called said it was  R&R law firm.  Would not speak with me.. Iet her know all debts we have had been off, with receipts and.letters from such debtors. How do they get by with this BS! maybe a class action against them would be a good idea. Mental anguish  threatening lawsuits.  Who's in??!!!

Same as above. “Kathy Walker” left message on my mobile,  stumbled through my name, said lawsuit and complaints have been filed against me, gave reference number. Said to call immediately.

Same as above.  No caller ID, the caller left voicemail as follows.  At least that’s how my phone translated it.  My mother in law received a call as well.   She was smart and gave no info.

“This is an urgent message intended for C M and I'm calling in regards to documents that we have here in our office _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ quad on delivery with file number 296xxx it's important for you to contact the _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ office immediately to set a proper date and time _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ to contact the issue _⁠_ office by the end of the business day today with (Evil) option but to move forward without your participation in regards to the pending action once again CM that phone number is 844-672-9770 and your file number 296xxx if there's an urgent matter…”

My husband fell for it he is so gullible. It’s a FAKE debt collector. Had to change my bank account just to get out of it. They sent us papers after he called them back agreeing to make payments on a old debt from 17 years ago!!! I told him when they first called it was a scam after 17 years that it’s not even on your credit report anymore nor is the company (a bank) going to file a lawsuit 17 years later for $400!!!!

They find out parts of your info with real debts and threaten you with lawsuits.  It’s a scam and they will collect every dime u will pay them. ALSO AMERICAN LADY so scammers stepped up their game from overseas non English speaking people. Smh!!
