They said something about being served in the next 48 hours. I hung up before they could finish because I know it's bs.

See 877-279-2153 for more information on these lo-life scumbags

Called me looking for a "Jacqueline Price" at my address. No info about who the people calling me are, just to let me know a warrant is being served next day October 19, 2016.

Said i was being served papers with a police officer in the next 24 hours

Got the same call. We are a law enforcement family and a police officer never accompanies anyone to serve papers. They also never warn you if you have a warrant, they just come! New twist on an old scam. I like the new twist of them asking to put away any weapons and large dogs!

new twist on old scam will be coming to this address in next 48 hours accompanied by law enforcement and to put up dogs and firearms. they never mentioned a persons name or the address they are looking for. i never put up my firearms unless it is a uniformed law enforcement officer. when i pressed 1 to be connected to a representative so i could tell them off i got elevator music then disconnected.

In some low-population mostly rural areas the process service is done by the sheriff or a deputy - an officer of the court.

got a call from that number today saying a person coming out with a police officer for some legal matter

Just got the same bs message. No names, just the basic we are coming to server you, put your guns away and lock up your dogs. that ain't happening. Dogs will meet you at the door, no matter what So will my friends Smith and Wesson. Scammers. Added to block call list.

it's been over a week and they still haven't shown up. to bad i wanted some target practice.

Left voicemail to say someone will be out to my address within 48 hours to serve a legal notice.

I got a call saying  a warrant  would  be served  in 48 hours  put my dogs and firearms  away a uniform  official  would  be coming  with  them no mention  of the person  the warrant  was for

If a warrant is  coming, there is no warning.  That is typical scare nonsense.

just got a call from scum bags lmao the police dont get involved in civil matters lol

Received automated call on cell phone # 615-305-0375 from 888-662-6153 saying someone at this address was going to be  served with legal papers and a uniformed officer would be with them when served and if there was a problem to contact number 877-279-2153. This is my mother's phone but it's in my name. She is 86 and this is very scary for her.  Please put a stop to this sort of thing.

Leaving threatening messages on my phone

Never called this number

Left the same message on my voicemail

(888) 662-6153

Just got a call from this number with the same message that others have stated previously. Speaking about coming to the address associated with my phone number within the next 48 hours with a uniformed officer. Also asking that any firearms and large dogs be put away to protect everybody. It's the holiday season and I imagine this is just another scam. It sad that there may be some folks who fall for it and give out personal information and possibly pay money to these people. I will not be calling them back or answering any future calls from them. I will be blocking the number.  The number they provide as a call back number is (877) 279-2153.
