They keep calling my cell and my office leaving messages that I am part of a law suit and they have a summons for me. They are referring to a previous married name that I have not used in over 10 years. When I called they refused to give me any information unless I gave them all my information. I checked with my local court house and the file number they gave me is not an active case in my state nor is there anything involving me under any case #. I also checked with the courts in AZ where I was living when I used my previous married last name and nothing.

Left garbled message on my cell. Said I was named in a lawsuit and was being charged with a felony crime...

Message was left on phone that I needed to be served a summons which had to be signed by me' If was unable to be available I had to call this number 888-677-0456. The same message was left on my parents phone so I called. A man claiming to be James Winston said Wells Fargo was suing me for over $10,000 for a vehicle loan between 1999 and 2003. He said the vehicle had been repossessed. He could not say what type of car it was or where this suit was being filed. He said it was wherever the thing took place at. He stated an address from my childhood but only part was correct. I told him to send me the paperwork gave him my current address and hung up. Four days later my parents get another call only this time a different phone number to call and a reference number this time not a case number. Numbers were similar but different. I also told him that loan was not me because I didn't have a vehicle loan during those dates and I've never had a vehicle repossessed ever.
