Called this number back and voice mail message claimed to be WOW Internet & cable compliance dept.

caller left voice mail saying that she is from wow complicance dept. and I have some activity in my account. seems scam

Left a voicemail about activity on my account on Friday. I called her back but got a voicemail. Left her A message.  Called WOW’s customer service number twice  sbout this and they do not know this number and thnk this may be a scam.  Tracy never called me back.

This is a legit number for WOW compliance department. I finally spoke to someone and received follow up correspondence in the mail from WOW.

What type of correspondence? Seems odd that wow has no idea of this deptpartment nor dies it say who the caller is, they called me but I m suspecious it's legitimate, unless someone is trying o hack my account and would seem they know thst

Denise is one of the scammers calling you.  It was sent here to convince you that this really is that company.  Think about it.  Why are you here?  Answer, because you wanted to learn more about this number and who was calling.  Denise already knew, so there would have been no reason to show up here or to look the number up.

This number claimed to be wow compliance, left a message asking me to call back about activity on my account.

Got a call Friday said it was wow compliance department called back and got a recording. I called wow and talked to two people, neither one what I was talking about.

This number kept called claiming to be Wow. A woman named Candace said OK, it is real and I will send you a letter.  Yeah right.  Why wouldn't Wow send me an email or letter in the 1st place.  It is a scam to get your personal information.  Do not tell them anything.

They actually are WOW calling about illegal downloads or what not. I thought it to be a scam as well until my services were canceled. They will send a letter if they haven’t already

 They said it was WOW and stated that I was  streaming a program that I stream legally her name was  Denise so I called WOW and they provided me with the following number to report the call 18773218685

Sadly when I called the number it went to a mailbox and that mailbox is full and you cannot leave a message

When I got this voicemail message, I called WOW's Service Department and they confirmed that it was a scam. Nothing was on my file that would flag anything. They even said that they would email me first. SCAM! Sorry Meg and Denise (if those are your real names). BTW, they even told me that they didn't have my SSN on file, so they would never ask for that...

Same thing happened to me.  Tracey called to discuss recent activity on my account.  I have returned her call three times and get voice mail.  I called WOW customer service and they said there are no notes on my account.

This is the WOW Compliance line. I was given this number by the WOW customer service department.

I just got off the phone with WOW! (the real company) as I had received a voice mail from a "WOW! Compliance Dept" @ 888 677 3330 and I can tell you, without a shadow of a doubt, that the number and department is FAKE! A genuine WOW! rep told me that there is no such number in their directory, that they wouldn't have reached out via a voice mail in the first place (direct email is their first choice), and to disread it as it was a SCAM call!

I also spoke with WOW after receiving the same phone call.  They assured me that there is no such dept.

Just received a message from this number, claiming to be WOW compliance dept about recent activity on my account. Stupid me, I called and left a voicemail with my name address and phone number for them. My god. I wish I had googled the number first.

No, it's not.  I called wow customer service and their "compliance department" is called something else and that department doesn't make calls, they only receive them.  This is a scam.
