I answered the call- the person tried to verify my identity and stated "I'm calling from a place of business...."
I didnt let him go any further - just hung up.

Just received the same type of call except it was on my girlfriend's phone. Had to be a scam call.

Got a call from these idiots. "National Recovery" something or other. They asked for my old married name I havent used in over 15 years....bunch of scammers for sure.

Keep getting calls from this #.  Scammers !  Asking for my name and address. Hung up.

Called my cell, didn't leave a message. I'm assuming it's a scammers. *blocked*

I just got an unsolicited call that I did not answer

Mr Number does a good job of blocking but not 100% it will still ring a couple times.  The caller now says his name is Adam Smith. Well guess what. he got a new name from me today

Just called and I said I wasn't home - answered by mistake - and asked who was calling. Said he was calling from a place of business - his English, not so good. I asked to take a message, and he said he couldn't and when should he call back. I said if you can't leave a message, then you can't call back. Hung up and blocked.

I knew it was a scam by the number. As soon as I answered I yelled at the top of my lungs!!! They hung up pretty quick!!

Just received a call from this number I didn't let it get to far asked for my name and tried to get me to confirm my date of birth when I hung up on them. Normally I had stopped answering any calls from people I don't know unless they leave a message then I can determine if I wish to call back. I thought it would have been from my school... -_-;

888-677-5049 is - Nationwide Recovery Systems 501 Shelley Dr # 300, Tyler, TX 75701, USA. It's a debt collection agency for ER physician bills.

Supposedly Nationwide Recovery Systems ltd from Tyler TX. Stated they were trying to collect on a physician bill from years ago. I don't owe them anything. When I wouldn't confirm my ss# he smarted off & said well I'm disconnecting this call. I spoke with 3 different people all with accents I could barely understand. Probably a scam.
