This afternoon I received an e-mail with the subject line:
Payment Success 2/19/2022 [𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦]

I haven't purchased anything from Amazon in a while, so was certain this was a scam/phishing expedition.  Checking the sender's e-mail address confirmed this thought:  divescarolyn@yahoo.com

This message was at the bottom of the e-mail:
P.S. If you did not place this order please call us on
1 (888) 677-8139   (Fraud Protection Team)

Seeing as this was obviously a scam/phishing expedition, I did NOT call the number in the e-mail.  I searched Google for the phone number.  It wasn't attached to Amazon.

I then searched Amazon for customer service phone numbers.  I didn't find any.  However, I did find an e-mail where I could forward the scam/phishing e-mail (which I did):
stop-spoofing@amazon.com

Same just happened to me! Same exact number at the bottom from a scam email. Same exact information as the previous poster.

Received an email receipt for a $742 purchase which I had not made. It stated that if I had not made this order to please call 1(888)677-8139.

Also forward any emails like those to your email provider as well at the so-called company they claim to represent.

FAKE AMAZON email designed to fool you into calling a telephone number.  Don’t ever respond to or call a number on an email.   You reach always through regular channels and confirm.

I received the same Fake email from a scammer who claimed to be Amazon. In addition, I never ordered the $1500 Television they emailed about. They want people to call or click so they can get information to scam the person. Please do NOT call them or click. It is a Scam. Be careful.
