asked neighbor to have me call them

this lady called and lied saying that our number was given to her by my relative and she needed to contact him regarding some paperwork that he wanted her to do for him and her name was also maria martin from ccs....collection agency

recieved a call from this maria martin looking for my son who has not lived hear for 1+ years. Curious about this company she said it was aarp and a time sensitive matter. refused to give details

Received a vm on my cell phone.  Women said she was calling from the office of Maria Martin.  Asked for Iona Alvalez to return the call and left a file number to refer to.  I don't know any Iona Alvalez.  I didn't return the call.  Based on the other individuals who said they received calls from this number, it appears to be some kind of scam.

This lady called my mom inquiring about my car note that is currently being paid through another collection agency, She was harassing my mom saying that car was ALREADY auctioned in September of 2008 and here it is March 2010 - keep in mind I am still driving this car and have been since purchasing it. This company and all of their employees are scam artists - please beware!!!!

unbelievable I got a phone call from this lady said her name was maria martin, asking for my son, has not lived here for over a year. Told her not to call again and  if she did I would file a harassment complaint, she said I upset her, that she was a sensitive person, what a load of crap. What a condescending b***h. BTW any loans he had were long paid off, he owes nobody nothing, in fact he just bought a house, his credit is stellar.  I finally hung up on her cause she wouldn't stop wining.

Any bill collector calling a neighbor is against the law

Obviously a debt collector with bad information or just a scam. no message.
