they called my mom and my job threating to take me to court and i asked who is the debt from can have their number and they hung up

As soon as I asked for the information of the person claiming that I owed them, she said Good Luck and hung up on me as well.  When I called back they pretended as if I hadn't just called and then sent me to voicemail.

Since they are stating this is for a bad check, why are they calling my aunt?  If it was a bad check that I had actually written; which it is not because I only write checks for my rent; then they would have my mailing address and my phone number.  They wouldn't need to be completing basic searches online of a person's name and then calling their family members.  My contact number is also in ChekSystems; which actively monitors for bad checks being written in my name or from my account.  IF it had been a legitimate check that I had written, it would be sent to ChekSystems.  This isn't the first scam that has tried to do this and so that is why I signed up to be alerted if any bad checks were written from my account or under my name.  It is a scam!

SCAM for debt collection

Theses people from ARG Associates claimed I have a debt they call before and scam money from me do not give them any information

They called and left message stating i had bad debt and gave a reference number to refer to when calling back.  I don't have any bad debt  sitting out there.  It's a scam.  Report these people to your local law enforcement and the ftc.

Claimed I have a legal matter that I will be served if I didn’t call back. And this served as a last attempt before being sent  to the County Clerks Office.

Called my son oct 24, saying I owe money for a check I got for a loan. Told her it was a scam. She hung up

A man by the name of Phillip called. Said I had to call to stop court appearance,  to call and talk to mediators,  face me a file number. It was from a company ARG.

I've had repeated call from them. They had all my info, including full ssn . Had a bank account that wasn't mine and an email. She said i owed for a payday loan I took out on 4-7-11. They want money or were going to sue me. I reported them to ftc, consumer protection agency and my bank. i just recieved another call today [10-12-18], said i didn't make arrangements, so they were going to serve me. What does a person have to do to get them off their back?
