888-684-1434

I keep getting voicemails from a phone number with a Yorktown, NY area code. They say they are DP&L and request that I call this number directly to discuss an issue with my account. I called DP&L directly and they said that not only is this number not affiliated with them, but they also do not have any call centers in the state of New York. I called the 888 number and they said it was DP&L. I told them what DP&L said to me and accused them of being scammers. They promptly hung up on me.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION. THESE ARE SCAMMERS.

July 2nd message while I was out of town - "Hello this is Daniel calling to follow up on your DP&L utility account; please call me back immediately with the recent notice with your bill received my mail, at 888-684-1434."
