So they called me a few months back saying that wells fargo was going to sue me for 1800 plus lawyer fees and court fees and that i should sign something agreeing to pay 400 and settle this before they take legal action
But I've called wells fargo multiple time to try and figure out what they are talking about and i keep getting the same answer from wells Fargo saying that i only owned the 8.00 and it was such a small amount that they wrote it off still not sure who this law firm is KPL and Associate

Someone from this number called looking for my ex daughter in law. She and my son divorced over 12 years ago. They said they the debt might be that old but they don't know for sure. When I said I have no contact with my son's ex, they asked if my son sees her still. When I said no he is remarried they asked if they had kids. When I said their daughter passed at 9 days old they had the nerve to say so, no more kids we could call? Please... their daughter would only be 16 this June. My Ex daughter in law is only 34. How young of a person are they going to call for a debt that is over past the statute of limitations?

These are criminals looking to scam you out of money.  You husband is a prime target for them.  They will con a payment out of him if he talks to them.  They won't leave you alone so you will need to take action to protect yourself.  Here is a start:

They call family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.

They left a VM saying someone had "filed a complaint" against my wife and to call them ASAP. They've been calling us for years saying we owe money to Wells Fargo, which she DOES NOT and never has. Total scam - they've started finding my families numbers and calling them as well. They did not leave a company name on the VM. Blocked the number. Again.

They told us my wife owes Wells Fargo money too! She does not and never has. When we asked for proof, the woman flat out refused to send it to us. Said the only way we'd see paperwork is when they'd take us to court. We contacted Wells Fargo and they had no idea what it was or who they were. This company has started calling our families as well. It's disgusting how easy it is for them to obtain contact information online!
