I'm scheduled to go out to your home and place of employment within the next 24 to 48 hours. Please make yourself available with two valid forms of ID. If you are served your summons at work a supervisor or head of security will need to be available to sign off as a witness. - SteveGot the same message, then at the end it said "press 1 to be connected." So I did. I asked what's this about? The guy put me on hold for about 30 seconds, and then came back with my phone number, name, address, employer and SSN! Had all my current information so I kind of paid attention. He told me I owed $1000-something on a Visa card, and I could pay it now or pay the judgement which would be 3 times that. I said this is bogus, I don't have any debts. He told me I would be served at my home, repeating my address. I told him, go ahead, I'll see you in court. I'm sure exactly nothing will happen. But if it does, the city attorney will probably like to have the case.
