Got a call this morning,

ME: "Hello?"

*long pause*

THEM: "Hello?"
ME: "HELLO?"
THEM: "Hi, is ---------- there?"
ME: "Can you take me off your list please?"
THEM: "blah blah blah 72 hours taken off list, thank you on behalf of Westgate Resorts haveaniceday"

I also called back and pressed 2, the recording said my number will be processed.  whatever "processed" means.

Call the number back, Option 1 to Book a Reservation, *Option 2 to be removed from the list... input your 10 digit phone number; confirm.

This is one of the least annoying telemarketers.

the # 2 thing really works

They hung up on me when I answered, I called back and followed the directions of hitting 2.

To whom it may concern:

 I got a GODDAMNED harassing call from these DAMN PEOPLE today. Does anyone know who or what and where they are. Report them.

Never ending stream  of  daily calls from this number. No ione answers when I pick up.

same as 800-255-2557 .............. I searched the number and both are the same company....... Westgate Travel ............. A timeshare company.

this was odd... they called, my wife answered. they asked for her by name, then told her to disregard the phone call, then hung up. sounds like  a scam.

It is WestGate Resorts trying to offer a vacation package. But the hang up when you answer.

888-685-0042 has called my phone many times. It was a timeshare resort. they will offer trips to Vagas, bahamas, cruise ships and many other places.if interested just tell them you cant afford port fees or your just not sure about it and they will drop the price from $500 per person down to about $190. This is the info they gave me. I never give my card info to anyone so I can not tell you fore sure if it is a scam. Their website was www.rci.com

claimed not to know about the Do Not Call List

The first time I called them back, I got an "off-hook" tone.  When I called them back today, I got the "press 2, enter your 10-digit phone number" option.  It supposedly removes the number within 48 hours.  I hope so, because they normally make 2 calls in very quick succession.  Thank goodness for Caller ID!  They also never leave a message.

Called again today, a week after being told not to call
me again.

Have you tried the do not call registry? have to wait a month to complain but I did wait and filed a complaint today, maybe a few more complaints and something will be done

This number was calling our home several times a day two months ago. They would leave no voicemail so I searched the number online and found this website. I followed the advice of calling the number back and pressing 2 and I have not received anymore phone calls since.
