- PaulaI went to check my vm at work and freaked when I heard a msg left by Ted Cromson ext 113 from Thompson and Assoc at law. I did call and leave a msg for them to call me back. I went from my emotional state to asking "why would they not leave a reference number for me to call back with?" glad I went online and now if they call back, I am definitely armed with a boatload of questions to ask.

- wendy| 1 replyI just got 2 calls on my machine for Angela Medina case #AIS-62776. They said they were trying to collect a debt, represented themselves as Thompson and Associates. There is no Angela in our home, so I thought I would call them and let them know they have the wrong number, so they would quit calling me and disturbing our family. ( I have had my current phone number for 3years).
So I called the number on the machine at 10:02 am... it rang for 1.34 minutes, no machine. I thought that was really weird, so while I dialed back again.... I did a search and found all this. Well, this phone call generated an answer, a very young lady... said "hello" (weird for a law firm or any other business). I asked 'is this Thompson and Associates?", she said "no". so I hung up.
I just hope no one else is injured by this fraudulent company.- Caller: Thompson and Associates

- KEE-KEEHey this company is not a law firm it's a collection agency that call themselves this name. I have a sister-in-law who works for a company like this with Attorneys at law behind the name in the state we live in and these folks will try anything to get you to pay these old debts that these companys have bought. When they call you please ask them to verify the debt by sending you paper work in the mail with your signature and if they can't produce it then by law they have to remove it, also, never answer any of their questions over the phone but to verify the debt by mail with your signature ask them for their name and phone number and do research. Never, never, never, never, never give them or no one your banking information over the phone that is the number one no no thing to do. Please don't let these people intimidate you. You don't know them and they can make up anything to get your information and this is the number 1 thing in this country for identy theft.

WATCH OUT !!!!!!!!! - GuyOnMotos| 1 replyThese guys total Blowhards. Found out what tactic they use if they get your phone number at work.. They will get a hold of department, get your work number, then will call that number twenty million times (really!) until they get someone who answers, or your voicemail, which I think is worse, because then they
really have your name and department.
They also will not give any information what so ever about themselves. They will try to bully you, however, into giving anything about yourself or whoever these blowhards are trying to contact.
They will then try to leave threatening messages about you to your boss, and anyone else who has the misfortune of getting these clowns on the line and having to listen to them.
I truly hope these guys step in front of an oncoming truck. - BJHThis is a collection agency:

Flood their email system with complaints against them. Either that, or send them a registered cease and desist letter and they have to stop contacting you. If they continue, you can sue them and win.- Caller: Thompson & Associates

- Lisa Workman| 2 repliesAn Adam Walker called me and left me a message this morning telling me that I'm in trouble for a fraudulent check, (I don't use checks) my husband takes care of them, I use cash. He talked to me with such disrespect and telling me I'm gonna get served and so on. Whether this place is legitate or not, I will not even deal with them, so they will have to do what they have to do. I have never spoken to a "business" like this and how rude they were. Then after speaking to him, he continued to call my phone and hang up on me, he did this like 4 times. And he tells me to grow up. They had better not call me again or I will turn them into the better business bureau.

- anonymous replies to Lisa WorkmanBeware that scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

They must have a class or something on how to "bully people", thats a requirment upon being hired there. Asking for peoples routing number over the phone? Even they know how [***] it is to ask for a social and bank number over the phone. Thats why the take such a rude approach, its their only option. I just wish [***] like this would get a real job. Actually WORK for a living. Instead of trying to scare people into paying petty, ancient debts, of which they purchased from shady companies just like themselves.

- Cenote replies to Lisa WorkmanGood! Don't deal with them, but don't expect to get credit ever again. And maybe if u weren't cashing fraudulent checks, maybe you wouldn't be pursued by collection agencies. In other words, PAY YOU [***] DEBTS!
