I have been receiving 2-3 calls a day from this number for about one month now.  At first they would hand up without speaking.  Then a few times they left 10-20 second long mesages with nothing but breathing and/or ambient noise and muffled speech.  Since last night, at the end of these "white noise" messages, a female voice says "you are going to die."  These are not robocals - there is a person on the other end.  It is very creepy.

These people are scammers trying to sell solar systems over the phone. I ask for names & phone numbers up front (then, they think I've been baited) but I report them on DoNotCall.Gov.

Recently, sales reps named Jeff from Smart Energy and Daniel from Smart Energy. They both admittedly said they could care less that I was on the Do Not Call list.

I have been receiving a few calls a day from this company.  This time I pretended to be interested to get all of their information.  It is Smart Energy Advocates.  After I told them I was reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry, they asked if I was still interested in hearing about their programs.  Idiots.

When I did a google search for this phone number this website popped up http://smartetel.com/index.html I have the number as my phone records numbers from calls received. I have gotten so fed up with calls like this that I seldom listen to my messages. I don't have the time or patience to listen to hours of telemarketer calls every week, and having a full message record prevents more from being left. I also am on the do not call registry. I use my home phone more for placing calls than receiving them.

We get calls from these people all the time and it is so obnoxious. They went to sell you on the idea of a "free solar" system that the government will set up for you. Well, we have done our own research on what they offer and it's not what we want. Their system is the bare minimum and you would still be tied to the system and whatever strings are attached to this "deal." Personally, I would rather install a solar array that I want, calling the shots as to how large or small it is. And, I certainly don't need nor want handouts from the government with whatever strings might be attached. I have explained this concept countless times to these Bozos and they keep calling.

I actually took the time to listen to these people that you guys are calling idiots and I was able to actually qualify for a the program and I am now saving in reality 300 dlls off of my electric bill.

Just got a call from this number and 714-768-6464.  They are from a company scam called "Smart Energy".  They want to sell you stuff to lower your heating bills.  I have asked numerous times for them to stop calling back but they always do.  Some are horribly rude.  I have called to complain and other than blocking specific numbers, there is not much you can do.  And yes, I am on the do not call list.   There are many different numbers that this smart energy company uses.  Here are a few you can block:

I have received many calls each week from the so called Smart Energy Company.  I have spoken to at least six different people asking them to please not call and take me off their list.  Each time they either hang up or laugh.  One even said, "I don't think so."  

I called a number given to me, to report their harassment and filed a formal complaint.  They said they are very aware of the 714 numbers and are in the process of investigating the numerous complaints.  She told me the telemarketing company is from Garden Grove in California and will soon be looking at some very hefty fines.

You are working for a CRIMINAL organization.  You are violating federal laws and when the feds get you, I hope you get to wear pink underwear in Arizona.  Go get a real job.  Or better yet, contact the FBI  and the IRS and turn them in for tax evasion.  You would get a percentage of the funds owed!  Could make you quite a haul.  Think about it you CRIMINAL MORON.

Hey, shill.  My house has two sets of solar panels on the house already from a LICENSED and very reputable company.  Why would any sane person deal with a crooked, criminal organization that violates telemarketing laws.  If they violate these laws, what other laws are they violating?  Do they have a business license?  Are they registered as contractors in the state?  Do they have worker's compensation insurance?  Do their employees have felony records?  If you break ONE law, there is no reason to believe that this organization wouldn't break every law in the books just to make a buck.
