I'm in Denver trying to sell my Xterra, and got the same call and email from this joker.  When did selling a car become so difficult?  The only calls and emails I've recieved have been from people trying to find someone to take over our payments, someone to buy the car (for a "small" fee), or jokers like these guys who can get me "top dollar" and sell my car quickly.  BAH!

I just got a call from this number in response to my G35 on Craigslist Seattle and let it go to voicemail.  It was a prerecorded message in a woman's voice:

"Your vehicle has been on the market for too long.  Let me help you get a buy right away!  If you want to get this sold, press zero now.  Buyers are waiting!  For removal, press one.  Thank you and have a wonderful day."

    No thanks.

About two weeks ago received and Email from Troy Thompson about my 69' Chevy Corvette. I called the number and reached someone by the name of "Sunny". She told me in detail about the program. I listed my Chevy with them for a fee of $199.00. I have received a few calls from people who said they saw it "On the web". One person said they filled out a application for a loan on www.drivetimemotors.com. I'm still waiting on to see if they get approved or not. I'll keep you all posted if it goes threw or not. So far it seems atleast semi legit.

I got the same message from this number after I listed my jeep on craigs list. I called it and it is a company trying to collect a $199.00 fee to remarket your merchandise.  Personally I think for $199.00 you could sell whatever you are listing through a more conventional and reputable source.  But thats just my opinion.

I received the call but didn't pick up I also received this e-mail Tis guy is a phony.

    Hi,

I am possibly interested in purchasing your vehicle.

I buy cars for cash - no waiting on a check to clear.
    Actual cash on the spot!

I am willing to pay above wholesale or trade-in value, which is what a dealer will normally give you.
I do not pay full retail!

If you can get top dollar selling it yourself then congratulations you are a great salesperson or you must have a very special vehicle.

But if you are having a hard time selling - I am your answer!

I do not buy junk or repairables. Only running condition, usually in fair to excellent condition vehicles.

If you want to get a good idea as to what I am willing to offer you Click here and load in the information. You have to go thru a little extra B.S. to get the actual value - but it is a heck of a lot more accurate for what I can offer you than blackbook or kelleys.

You can take the trade in value that it gives you and add about 15%. That is what I would be willing to pay cash for your vehicle, assuming that it drives out OK with no major problems.

If that value is something that you can live with then please let me know.

Obviously, if we do end up doing business I will pay you cash but you will need to provide me with a free and clear vehicle - so if you do have a loan, that will need to be paid off at the time that I give you cash.
We can actually meet at your bank if need be at the time of the sale to work that out.

    Regards,
    "ALL CASH" David

I listed on craigslist in Wichita Falls, Texas. Got this from the same guy except now he has an sbcglobal.net email address and send out messages from hi black berry.  I think he might be working with a guy Brian Freeman from a 239 area code. He ask for bottom dollar price thursday told him X amount provided he pays monday, handles shipping cost, and doesn't try to pay my with a cashiers check from bank of Africa.  He said okay.  Today, he tries offers 1000 less than what we agreed to saying he has to pay that much in shipping cost.  I told him the offer was for cash today and to fk off I wasn't giving my Jeep away.  20 minutes later I get a call to my cell phone from 888-689-8939 saying they can sell it quick etc etc.   The timing is kind if fishy?

Anyone heard of a Brian Freeman 239 area code briafrmn@aol.com?

This number has called me just recently every now and then for the past couple of weeks, I finally called them back and talked to someone and told them that I haven't had a car on craigslist for 4 months and to take my number off their list, of course I was in the best of moods when I talked to who ever answered the phone. These people are just looking to steal your money and waste your time, after I googled "National Motor Sales" I found that of course they do not exist and one person had talked to someone for 30 mins, the customer service person said it would be $100 to set up a car on 12 different sites then $99 dollars after the car was sold, this is one of the most annoying scams out there and hope they are stopped soon.

I received an automated call from this scumbag company. They give you the 'option' of being 'removed' or to speak with a representative. I opted to speak with a representative. When he got on the line, I told him what he could do with his offer and I used more profanities than I have in a long time. I hung up. He called me back, so I cussed him out again and then sent their phone number to www.fbi.gov as a harassment call.

Got the same message for a boat I am selling, but I sell boats for a living. It says that in the add, so they do not do there homework very well. Can't blame a guy for trying, but at the same time I would never respond to anything automated ever. If they call again, listen longer, and push 9 to remove from the call list. - Daryl, Redfish Yacht Brokers.
