- Laurie| 4 repliesMy husband was told to have me call this number with regards to my Chase Visa account. When I called back, the phone was answered "Credit Card Services". They were not able to verify my Chase Visa Debit card as a valid account #, claimed that they where calling about a credit account and asked for my soc. sec. #. As the Debit is the only Chase account I have, I was suspicious and didn't give him any more info. I called the number on the back of my Chase card to verify and they couldn't find that this was a valid number associated with Chase and advised me to monitor my account for freudulant charges.

- dmA dozen calls from 224-222-8005 starting early this morning, every hour or so. Runaround when I ask them to stop. They are asking for someone who I've never heard of. They do not care that they have the wrong number. One person gave me this number to call: 888-694-6909. Calling that number sounded like the same bunch. They told me they are "Chase Bank" which I find hard to believe. Unable to speak with any manager or get anyone's name.
- Caller: "Credit Card Services" or "Chase Bank"
- jvRec'd call from 302-282-8004 left voicemail from card services claiming urgent matter with my credit card. When I called the number left 888-694-6909, they answered Card Services and asked for my account number, I said for who? They told me they were Chase Bank, since I did not have my card at the time, I stupidly gave them my social and home number. I was informed that my account was fine. I called the customer service on my billing statement as I was concerned and was told that they were not affiliated with this number and reported it to the fraud division who immediately cancelled the card and issued new number. I also implemented credit alerts immediately. I called the 888 number again and asked to speak to a supervisor, I explained to "Pat" what had happened and she asked for my phone number and name, I gave her my first name, she then asked for my mother's name. I informed her that I was not comfortable giving that information and asked why Chase Bank says they were not affiliated with her, she said she worked for Chase that if I did not believe it to call back and speak to someone else, I asked her again about not being recognized by Chase and she became beligerent and claimed that since I would not give her my personal information she really couldn't tell me anything about my account. I think there is something not right with calls from and to these numbers.

- Miss KittayI just received a call at my workplace from "Card Services" asking for my employer by name. I claimed he wasn't in and asked for identification of caller and call back number and what it was in regards to. Caller Michelle claimed it was regarding his "banking matters" and gave me this number for him to reach them. The call was machine dialed with a delayed connection and response when I answered.
I googled the number and found numerous reports on this website of fraud attempts using this number and the name "Card Services" dating from 2008.
Well, they're back! Beware!- Caller: Card Services

- adminWe've been getting calls from these folks for the last 2 weeks, asking for my director while claiming to be with Chase. Like most solicitors, they've refused to give any information, and hung up when questioned for a call back number or return email address. Today, they finally gave a return number to reach them at: "888-694-9230".
Of course, if they were legit and wanted to reach him, they would have called his cell phone or emailed him directly, especially since he pays for everything online. - jdI've been receiving the +8474883313 7-10 times per day.....I finally got a voice mail with the number 888-694-6909. Spoke with some guy from India named "Victor". I was dumb enough to give him my name and s.s.#. When he couldn't pull up my accounts, I got a bit suspicious. He gave me the
888-414-3186 to call which I did. When I called, I got the "Credit Card Services" comment as well. I asked "Credit Card Services" from who and he told me Chase as well. I did here a number of people in the background, but I didn't give him anymore information. Bit fishy if one asks me. - jdI meant "I did hear a number of people"....
- LKI have received 4 calls in the last 20 minutes from 847-488-3313. A voice recorded message has been left every time saying the call is from Chase telling me to call back at 888-694-6909 regarding my "personal business matter." I immediately Googled the number and came up with these reports. I do not plan on returning the calls based on what I've read.

- NYC123| 3 repliesThis is a real phone number from Chase. I called Chase--through a number on their website-- to confirm it. If you call Chase and give them your home phone number they can see if any branch of their Customer Relations Dept. has been trying to reach you.

- mac-tReceived a call from +84 74 883313 asking for one of my employees in regards to his Chase Bank account.
I told them I can't give my employees phone number out but I'll have the employee call them back.
They gave me the following number 1-888-694-6909.
Being the skeptic that I am, I called that number back from a different number and the person answering said "thank you for calling chase bank, can I have your 16 digit account number?"
If this really is Chase Bank, they need to stop calling from what appears to be a international number.
I will let my employee know of the call but I will instruct him to call a US listed number for Chase.- Caller: Chase Bank?

- acmpls| 1 replyI've received numerous calls for several days in a row in the past two months from 847 488 3313; occasionally, a partial message is left that says something like "[cut off] regarding a personal business matter...call us today at 1-888-694-6909..."
Interestingly, I did call Chase the day before yesterday regarding my account, which is indeed presently less than 30 days past due; I called them after they had left me a number identifying themselves explicitly as Chase. The number they had been calling from was 402-220-4351, which appears to be a Nebraska based number; they had called several times for two days in a row from that number.
When I called them, I spoke to a reasonably respectful woman with Chase, expressed a variety of concerns, which were acknowledged, though not satisfactorily addressed. Before I ended my call, I explicitly requested that she note on my account that I do NOT require further telephone calls from Chase, that receiving several calls per day was not necessary because I am fully aware of my circumstances and have read their mailings. I asked that she make it known that they should not call me anymore, and she said she would do so.
It was within ONE HOUR after I ended that call with Chase that the 847-488-3313 number began calling me with a vengeance. The same pattern occurred in the past two months as well; both times, again, I was less than 30 days past due with my payment.
My plan: I'm filing a complaint tomorrow morning with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. I consider this harrassing behavior, and I find Chase a vicious, relentless, obnoxious and rigid company to deal with. Once my debt to them is paid, I will NEVER do business with them again.- Caller: suspected: Chase

- SaintThis is a fraud company based out of India. They called me 3 times in the early hours on Saturday..strange, right? I called it back and it starts with a random message saying "this call is being recorded." I hang up. I call the real chase number on my account, and report the number to the fraud department. She runs it through their database and says it's not connected to any Chase number anywhere in the world. Awesome... I call the number back and mess with the guy who answers. I first ask him to check my account balance on my savings account, because they are linked, he says if I give him my social security number he can check it. I say...but you called me, you should have my account information. I say "where are you calling me from, India or Pakistan?" he says "India." I say..."But Chase Bank is based out of Chicago." He says "this is the international branch." I say that it's an American based bank and I don't have an international account. He says "i'm an American Indian." I say..."no you're not, if you were an American Indian you would be a Navajo. And you wouldn't be calling me from India if you were an American." He fumbles around with his words a bit, and then says he'll transfer me to an American Account Manager. I say "don't worry about it, buddy. I've reported this number to the fraud department of Chase bank based out of Chicago, you had better watch your ass." Don't give these tards any of your information.

- Mike, Bakersfield CaliforniaI received a message at work to contact this number from a representative from Chase. We do not even have a chase card any longer. The man on the phone asked for my card number, I told him I did not have a card and he said that's ok, he could use my Social Security number. Of course I did not give him my number. Then I looked here and see that this is suspicious. Thanks for those who have enetered concerns.

- teflon man23 February 2010
I'm here in Haiti and I get an email from my house saying that someone called regarding my Chase Card past due with a call back number. I call the number 1-888-694-6909 and get a real generic telephone rep who is likely from India and very professional and polite. He knew my account balance on my Chase card and I figured he was legit. He asked for my routing number, account number and SSN. Needless to say, he's not getting a dime of my money. These guys are dirty. Spead the word. OB - teflon manPart II from 23 February message.

Why is it that when I called your 1-800-436-7927 number and when I ask the Fraud Dept representative if 1-888-694-6909 is indeed a legitimate number that is associated with Chase Bank, he says Yes?. My question to you is this: IS 1-888-694-6909 A BONA FIDE PHONE NUMBER OF YOUR CHASE BANK??
Please respond to this. I have had someone take my SSN using this number and that someone I believe has established a login/password to my account. If 1-888-694-6909 is not a number associated with Chase, why did your fraud dept say it was and how was this dept already familiar with the specific details involved with my 1-888-694-6909 call? For example, your fraud dept already knew that I initially attempted to expedite a transfer using my Wachovia account.
Please reply back to this email right away
And freeze my account.
