These people say they are with an energy company in TX.  And it is not about collecting a bill.

I've told these people at least 4 times in the 2 wks I've had my number they have the wrong # but they keep calling for someone else!

Direct Energy over charges...won't come read the meter, does a estimation which is 2x or 3x the amount of a normal read, runs your bill sky high and then the reps don't understand when you say you are going to switch!  I will pay what I owe, but not what you GUESS I owe.  Direct Energy can go to hell and yes, this is the collections department.  To hell with what Layla is saying...she probably works for the dumbass company.

this  woman keeps calling  me  asking for some Edwards , shes been calling all week ,today she called again. she stayed quiet I told her off .

If this is Direct Energy surprise for them. They charged me 2 1/2 times the normal bill on the last bill before I changed services. After the Hurricane Ike they also said they read my meter the day of the hurricane and everyone had been evacuated and the ground was covered with 8 feet of water and the meter was upside down in the water. It took me 5 months with a picture of the meter to get them to send a person to read the meter and correct the bill which I then paid.
I think they are a very unethical company. They are an English company oprerating in the USA.

I get this call and it needs to be omitted from being recieved on my phone. It is a non-legitamate call.

has called litterally 20 times in 2 days when i finally started answering today they have asked for 3 separate people each time.  promising to remove my number but of course get another call within minutes.

Received a call from this number, they asked for a person with the same first name as me but a different last name. When I told them they had the wrong number they asked "Is there is ANY ONE named 'Frosty' there?" without the last name. I hung up and found this site. I have dealt with Direct Energy in the past but they NEVER had this phone number. Fishy.

How do I get them to stop calling?

This is Direct Energy.  I got tired of their foolishness and switched providers at the end of my last contract.  These calls are them begging to keep my business, and I just ignore them.

i don't know who this is but they stole $24.95 from my debit card I haven't given anyone my account number.  so we're gonna have a big fight.

I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFB..

keep getting repeated calls from Direct Energy from this number 888-701-1115 about an overdue bill.  I have talked to them twice explaining that I do not do business with Direct Energy and are mistaken.  It doesn't sink in.  They are still killing several time a day.

Female called on 7/17/2018 stating that I have a Direct Energy bill that needs to be paid ($80) which isn't due until 08/01/2018. Let me clarify that the is also no past due balance.
Despite that, the female caller was "willing" to take my credit card information although there was no payment due at the moment.

Damn scammers.
