Message on my answering machine saying only that my credit card would be charged $699.99 for 1 year PC tech support and to call back immediately to cancel.  The number given to call back to 88870403461.  Did not return call.

Left message from "PC Tech Support - we have charged $699.99 to your credit card for 1 year PC Tech report. Call back immediately if you do not want the service at 888 704 03461" Note too many digits

Just got a Robocall from this number, identifiying itself as PC Tech,.. saying I needed to call back immediately regarding my account. I DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT. This is a SCAM NUMBER!

Just got a call stating my CC was charged 600 for Tech support. I stated I did not have any support and the he said, you want me to cancel it. I stated, I have no idea who u are and hung up. Probably would have asked me for either bank details or CC number but hung up figuring this was BS. I blocked the number after

Good move.  This is a phishing scam trying to play on people's fear of losing money to get them to give up their credit card information which would let the scammers steal more than the amount they state was charged.
Unfortunately there are people who will fall for this without even asking themselves "How would they have gotten my credit card number in the first place?".
