They have a summons for me from 5/3 bank. It was all a scam and they asked for $1,000 to resolve everything and stop the court order. It's a SCAM

Received a call from this number today.  Claiming to be somebody from Warren County dispatch.  Say that but they have tried to serve me papers two different times 1 at an old address that I haven't read that and almost 5 years and another one at my job which were both untrue.  I contacted my local sheriff's office and they said that this number was not affiliated with anything with them and that if I had legitimate papers that were being sent to me I would not receive a phone call.  Not sure if this is a scam or a debt collector but I never return their call

I received a call from an unknown number stating they were trying to deliver a summons, They gave me the 888-704-4409 number to call and a case number. I paid the debt they were saying i was summoned for and have paperwork to prove it. I emailed this paperwork to the email they gave me and have yet to hear from them. I just called asking information of them. They kept asking for my case number and I said I want to know who exactly I'm speaking with. What firm? They told me "Chambers Law Center" when I tried to press for more information I was hung up on. No self respecting law practice would dodge questions of who they are and then hang up on you, I would be weary of these people. All signs point to a scam. When I tried to google this law center nothing came up. When I googled the number i found this thread.

Chambers law center contacted  me as well regarding a debt with 5/3 bank. The voicemail that they left me stated that they had attempted to serve me papers two different times 1 at my address in one at my work.  When I returned the call he told me that there had not been anything filed and that he would put everything on hold  until I let him know what I wanted to do. Not sure if this is a scam or not..The debt from Fifth Third Bank was from 8 years ago. I never received anything from them directly or from a debt collector until just a couple of days ago

Typical debt scam attempt - how can your caller have attempted to serve you twice when he hasn't yet filed?  Per federal law, do not pay any caller unless they mail proof that you owe them that money.  And if you were going to be sued, you'd have gotten lots of letters about the debt and then a visit from a process server - who does not give you a heads up of his arrival.

Total scam.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you he or she is coming by.  Block and ignore the calls.

Not a law firm.  Debt scamming operation.  Ignore and block.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tells you he or she is coming by.  Classic debt scam.

I just received it the other day and i received it years ago they kept giving someone else's name and said i was listed as a point of contact for ther person gave me the case number. I returned the call and it was a law firm and he said that it was an active case getting ready to go to trial. I said i dont know the person you are looking for and have nothing to do with this. They said they were in LA I laughed and said well im in Cincinnati so remove me.
