Called in claiming to be from usps offering dedicated support on my shipments. says is is from the select business account management team and that my company has been verified to have over $250,000 in shipments annually so we qualify for his service. He wanted to know if we needed any help with any shipments. Big scam. We actually dont ship anything in our business...

Claimed to be with USPS shipping. Asking if we were interested in special programs. Wanted my regional office phone number (did not give that out). Gave me phone number and website to visit, which was fake.

Barely... come to think of it I've never got a single call from USPS. But they claimed to be a USPS. businesssupport@usps.gov was the email address given to be contacted. Her name was Mary.

Got a call from somebody who said they were calling from USPS (he said his name was Dave Johnson). He said that the USPS had created a special program for businesses to help provide shipping and mailing support and wanted to speak to whoever was in charge of our mailing. Checked with my office manager, she thought it was probably a scam, so I took down his phone number and looked it up and I found this page. We get a lot of calls and I've never gotten a call from the USPS before.

I got the exact same call but they said my last name which I'd never provided them with..  They actually called form  a different number

Received call today - I don't understand what the scam is though. Never asked me for info other than an email address - which I gave the one I use for suspicious sounding [***].

A guy named Felix gave me this number to call claiming to be from the USPS business customer support team. Called from a different number.

Lady claimed to be from USPS, wanting to speak to whomever makes shipping decisions for the company.  USPS never calls anyone! Not even if you want them to! ;)  She had the name of someone who hasn't worked here in 20 years.  No thanks, lady!

Said they were from USPS customer service asking if we had any questions or issues about postage or tracking packages.  We don't have the postage meter in our dept, it is in another dept and he had the name of our director who I said has nothing to do with postage.  He gave me his number and said to call anytime.

We had the exact same call today, same number same script.

Just got a call from this number, claiming to be USPS. Figured it was a scam, they asked for my manager by her full name. Took his number and email. businesssupport@usps.com

I actually called the numbers they gave me 888-707-7226 and the number on my caller ID 844-400-877 it is actually usps call center. Their email is real too I would've never known unless I tried it.

Called asking for my shipping manager, didn’t even know the company name. Claimed to be be from USPS for business that they could help us with shipping and tracking packages.  Told them that we get all this info online claimed this information is not online. Went to usps.com and did my tracking no problem. This is for sure a scam, the post office will never call you… ever.

Received a call from Sylvia claiming to be from the USPS Business Support Team. She pretty much said the same thing everyone else posted, it sounded suspicious and the website she provided usps.gov, not to get confused with USPS.com, she said, was a website to track packages and that they had more information than what we could see. Seemed odd so I did a little digging.

Just got the call.  I agree, trying to figure out what the scam is

received call from 888-707-7226 and they gave me the number as a return call number and an email address of businesssupport@usps.com.  She asked for my name and email, which I gave, but then she wanted name of business which I lied about and then hung up when she asked for mailing address.  It got weird.

When you answered the phone didn't you say the company name?  Why would you lie about the business and its address which are public record and probably in every advertisement it takes out?

A person called, Shanelle, claiming to be with the USPS, wanted to speak with the person in charge of our shipping.  I asked for her last name, which she said she could NOT give out.  I asked for her location; she said East then North. I said "Northeastern?" and she said "yes".  I asked for a specific town and she said she could not give that information out either!  What a SCAM.
